I am a 4th generation Bengaluru Kannadiga, I own some good real-estate in Bengaluru.
Though it's profitable for me if people migrate to Bengaluru, I wish more people wouldn't migrate to Bengaluru.
A city having strict rules on vertical infrastructure and surrounded by green belt and forest, cannot take so much of an influx of migrants.
True, me being a 2nd gen Kannadiga here also feel the same. Too much pressure on a single metro is seen. Atleast the crowd which works in service based companies whose pay is pretty less compared to the cost of living (the other better paid tech crowd), should insist upon setting up these office spaces in tier 2 cities. Few emerging hubs being seen are Cochin, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Bhubaneshwar, Vadodara. Doing a cost benefit analysis from both the employer's and the employee's perspective indicates significant benefit for both sides. The age-old issue of talent shortage is reduced nowadays to a great extent due to the expansion of Internet based skill education. This is bound to happen and even though, I have decent real estate interests in Bangalore ( and based out of US), I wish it would happen. We need atleast 8-10 tech hubs in our country to ensure good distrubution of opportunities and to avoid overcrowding.
Agreed with you man. Development should be distributed to all across the country. A large population kills the quality of city life slowly. For ex- Mumbai is of 3 crore people. It's almost more than 70% of some Indian state's population number.

traffic is the big problem bro, we are fed up of it, feels like we are done with our life already,
and all companies have opened up to fully work from office and things are worsened already,
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು is overcrowded people must try to invest in Patna, Vijayawada, Ranchi, lucknow, Kolkata, kharagpur, Dharwad, Cochin, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar.
When COVID has taught us that IT work can be done from home. We should have continued doing that.

Bangalore is truly a metropolitan, people from all 4 southern states have a very good representation before 90's. After IT revolution you can find people from every State in healthy numbers. Everybody feels comfortable in Bangalore. Bangalore people are in general open to try new ideas and talent ofcourse is always been here.

Get your facts right , Infosys, tcs , wipro were not the first companies to start in Bangalore. It was texas instruments that started in Bangalore in millers road and it was back then itself a multi million dollar company, followed by hsbc and jmpc etc. Bangalore had the interest of foreign investment right from the start before any indian company got success here . Nobody in Bangalore likes TCS, infy and wipro because of them being leeches and making using of labour force at minuscule pay and discrimination in employment based on education rather than skill .

Bangalore or Bengaluru whatever you call this city has become a nightmare today. Everyone around you will rob you in sheer daylight. Tea which costs Rs. 8 or 10 elsewhere costs Rs. 12 to Rs. 20 at a below average canteen.
