    I've owned a G35 since around 2007. It's been my woods gun for bowhunting and protection from wildlife when archery hunting, and even human predators in the backcountry of CO and WY. The longer alphawolf threaded barrel increases accuracy and velocity. It's been a fantastic sidearm. It's lighter weight than the 10mm options and with hot ammo just as effective on black bears and smaller browns/mt lions.

    I often do; it's usually just whatever the I can find for the best price if I'm shooting a lot of it. The .40 in this video is Remington UMC 180 grain ammo.

    I have picked up a G35 gen4, largely because of this video. I genuinely enjoy your videos, sir. Your stream of consciousness analysis of the gun that you are reviewing is very insightful as well as entertaining. Having so many reviews on hand is a feather in one's cap when contemplating a pistol purchase. Thank you!

    As always, a great video. Hickok, I appreciate your reviews: they're clear, accurate, and practical, without any of the "absolutes" that are so common in the gun-review world. Thanks, and keep it up!

    The slow-mo at the end is cool! Just picked one up. They now come with factory adjustable sights, the new beavertail backstraps, and 3.5# trigger. I'm used to shooting a G22 and G27 (the later was my favorite but this gun is a sweetheart! This is very close to a 1911.

    I carry a G35 Gen 4 on duty, and even plain clothes off duty in a Don Hume 726. It's the best .40 I've ever shot and feel amply protected. Thanks again Hickok45 for such a great video,and for all the great videos you do. I echo all the comments from before about how nice it is to have a normal guy do these reviews. No gun speak, no elitist tacti-cool lingo, just good info. You're a class act.

    Thanks, and thanks for the holster. Like I tell most folks that send things; if it's something I like enough to use, it will probably end up in a video sometime; I just never know if or when. I've had that holster for several months, I guess. I'm alternating among various holsters, and I didn't want to wear this one too much yet and wear off the ugly face before I did a holster video or showed it in a video. :-) Now, I can put it in the rotation and start wearing off the face!

    I just bought a Glock 35 a few weeks back and love it. Very nice shooting gun and happy to see you review one. Can't wait till I get more time with my Glock 35 to be able to master it as good as my other competition gun. I bought it mainly for match shooting and took it out to a bowling pin shoot a few days after I bought it and did very good in the competition with only putting 100 rounds through it the day before the match. You look as happy as a kid on Christmas morning shoot glock 35 ;)

    Very very little difference in felt recoil on either of these weapons, The added weight and travel of the slide takes it up quite nicely, as does the polymer frame of the Glock. You just can't go wrong with these. Like Hic said...THEY WORK!

    Hickok, just wanted to say I love your channel and I was happy to see you review this gun. I'm just getting started at the range and it was the 4th pistol I've fired. Instantly a tighter grouping and a great feel with the extra slide metal - definitely a contender for my first pistol purchase. Did you end up keeping the 35/buying one?

  • @mohammedcohen
    @mohammedcohen 3 роки тому

    ...bought one from one of the member of our collector's club in So FL - had no real desire for it, not a big fan of .40 S&W...few years later picked up a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion bbl and another one in .357 SiG...now with a Reaction Tactical brace on the horizon (and a couple of 'fun sticks' in 9 & 40) I'm glad I got it...10 or so years later

    Have you experimented much with the .357 Sig in .40 S&W magazines, especially older .40 S&W magazines? I was recently disappointed to learn that some of the many .40 S&W Glock mags I have are not reliable with the .357 Sig cartridge.
