Man you got me into pomades back in the day. Now I'm dialed in with my regiment. I have to say your professional opinion helped me tremendously. Thank you.

Hey Adam, I m Gengis, got to say, I like your style of information delivery my dude, something rare in the "men long hair" youtuber community... just wanted to let you know.
Question: what are (according to your experience) the pros and cons of layering while growing the hair out (at that mid-length awkward stage) as opposed to letting it grow as it is to enjoy the thikness later at more substensual lengths .

Right on man I appreciate that and thanks for watching the videos.
In my experience layering can add a lot of texture and shape to the hair especially during an awkward stage. Typically hair is not symmetrical naturally so I can grow in heavier in specific areas so it may seemed to grow in layers but that’s not the case. Layering will offer a different look to the overall shape of your hair depending on your texture. I personally like the look of it but if your solely trying to obtain length I would not recommend not layering until you reach your desired length. Instead get it shaped by a professional for the best results. Hope this helps.

Alright thanks man, seems that there is no way around seeing a professional at some point, I'd say we have the same -ish texture and density judging by your early videos, so yeah I ll patiently wait 2 or 3 more months just to see where it goes than do my first shape up... thx again, and good luck with your endeavour.

Any recommendations for thin and thinning hair?

    • @AdamsHairStuff

The best thing I’d say is a hair tonic or a light hold pomade if you’re talking about styling but for combating thinning it’s mostly genetic so it’s hard to really figure it out. You can look into some type of hair growth supplement or company but the best thing I’d say is to limit your overall stress as much as possible as stress plays a huge factor in hair loss.
