as an owner of a 1st gen... far from "the best" - it's nothing like the older peugeots. handles good, but not dynamic enough - mostly the back end not rotating enough. but it is a very good all arounder - still drives pretty good & fun, very comfortable and nice to look at and sit in.
Great review ...ive just picked a 208GTI [14] Plate with only 17600 miles on the clock all service history ....its a beauty

Hi Christie, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the question. Apparently, the turbo valve is from GBS (Go Faster Bits). Australian company but there are UK re-sellers. Hope this helps and I hope you manage to track one down and have some fun.

That should be the exact name.
Got a THP200, 13 plate.....Comkotes TMSR2 induction kit and Direnza non res stainless exhaust....makes a difference.
Had a GFB DV+ on my 207 GT....it was crap, lasted 5 months so binned it.
Now put down the Prestige, and go and drive a 208 GTi 30th or By PeugeotSport. Totally different to the Prestige.

mr2gti is it really that different though... every source I’ve read seems to think otherwise.
Jamie It is superior to the prestige, with it’s even lower suspension, even wider track, bigger breaks, and most importantly it’s purely mechanical limited slip differential. The difference is significant! In fact when EVO and Piston-heads did a direct comparison with the 208 GTi by PS vs the Fiesta ST 200, they both concluded that the 208 was the better steering/handling car!
Definitely difference between 208 GTi BPS and normal GTi.. more fun too 👍😁

208 doesn't have that same rep as the Fiesta ST but man, it sure deserves it. Great balance between fun and daily driving.
Ps: GFB diverter valve is just a rice mod, no power increase, only a change in sound. Also owner stuck the K&N sticker on the intercooler return pipe, pretty gay tbf. Also all the stickers on it, ew man, c'mon!
Nothing beats a good bit of heritage! Each to their own! No denying, the ST is a beast too!
It doesnt actually change the sound, it's just more durable than the normal one, especially if you got some engine optimizations done. And maybe offers a little better response.
My stock engine already destroyed two stock valves, after that i switched to the GFB valve ( had to anyway cause of upcoming tuning stuff ).
Gotta agree on the sticker stuff though lol
M135/m140i is the best hothatch. But this is a nice car to😀 in great price
