Appreciate the honesty of what you’ll do after Nutcracker season is over- I, too, will be crying! It may be my last Nutcracker, and it very likely will be my last Nutcracker performing with my daughter. So, this year’s Nutcracker is even more precious! We just opened last night, and we have next weekend too, but already sad it will be over in 9 days… while simultaneously trying to take in each moment…
I was never a person who really tuned in for typical vlogmas around this time of year when it first began, but I do try my best to catch Loris updates, they just feel so cozy and magical. I myself can't wait to start my ballet journey, so it feels really sweet when she takes us along her day. Sending love!❤
The eyeshadow looks wonderful on you! Those cards are adorable. Like I feel like I need them in my life, lol. Thank you for sharing your journey this Nutcracker season.
I grew up in Riverside. This is very nostalgic watching this. I used to go to Mission Galleria antique store all the time. And I’ve stayed at the mission Inn hotel.
Oh my Gosh you are in my city! I live close to the Mission Inn! I recognized the beautiful lights. Are you able to share the name of the coffee shop & other places you ate at.. if you enjoyed them! I’d love to see the Nutcracker next year… do you always come to dance here for the holidays?
As an independent dancer, do you have your whole year already booked out? Do you go on auditions if a company is looking for a certain role? I’m just curious about how that goes! (I’m sorry if someone’s asked this before)
Glad you got some R&R today! SO fun watching you go about your day. And I really like the sparkly eye shadows you got to use today--I would've chosen those also.. The rolling-out you do is new to me...I'd like to ask you to give us details, please, about why it's so important. Thanks so much! See you tomorrow!!😊 ❤
I can tell you're an only child since you are so comfortable doing things by yourself! I'm the youngest of 5 but there is a significant age gap with my siblings so I had a lot of only child experiences. Good luck to you!
She’s answered this before so I’ll try to reply: Usually you need to negotiate pay and things like this but yes she accepts guest offers at places that pay for the hotel and give $ for daily food expenses ranging from $25-$75/day. She’s not working at a dance company but hired by a theater as a guest.
I had a Nutcracker and a ballerina ornament on my Christmas tree way before I even knew about either ballet or the Nutcracker story. Thing is, being in South East Asia, we don’t have a particular ballet that we’ll perform for Christmas - it’s usually just called the Christmas show or Christmas concert and each ballet class would have their own segment to perform. We could have parts of the Giselle and Coppeliá coupled with Arabian from the Nutcracker and maybe a combined three class segment with a kind of extravaganza going on. I remember being a clown, a dancing Santarina and a leopard all in one extravaganza and being the first time doing multiple parts, the teacher didn’t even tell me where I could change and so I decided to wear the Santarina costume underneath the baggy clown costume as I couldn’t figure out how I could change in three seconds from one to another and then had the leopard costume in my unzipped bag next to the bathrooms that after the Santarina segment I rushed to, nipped into a stall and jumped into it and ran straight out.. only to have to wait after each performance as no one else was ready and so whoever was on stage at that point either had to repeat their entire routine again or improvise! That said-the post performance briefing was hilarious as my classmates told stories of tripping over each other to get changed on time and people mixing up which costume we had to get on next in the panic! The show started at 6pm and was supposed to end at 10.30pm-instead, it was past 11 as the next three segments after us had to wait for us the get our act together-literally! I was 11! Thinking back, we should’ve had a lot more guidance for the transitions from our teachers but it was the 90s and they didn’t even think of it!
Thanks once again Lori❤ a funny question: do you even own a jeans? However i can imagine you wanna feel comftable after wearing tutus and stuff during performance. And at what age did you became vegan if i may ask?
Hey Lori! I love your videos so much and I really want a pair of your sighned pinte shoes but they are currently out of stock😢 Anyways I wanted to let you know! Merry Chrietmas
Dear Lori, I love your videos and your energy so much! My mum passed away unexpectedly four days ago, and I have been left heartbroken and unconsolable. I have a pole dance showcase performance in June, for which I have chosen a ballet theme and I am going to train really hard and dedicate it to my mum❤❤❤

You're such a charming gal. Love how you shared your life of the Nutcracker during the Christmas season. ❤

That little dance again! I just love it! Too cute!! ❤
Such a busy, dedicated person. Love the discipline involved.
It's such a treat learning about the life of a professional ballerina! Thanks also for sharing the scenes of Christmas lights etc. Bless you always! ❤
Sorry if already asked but do you have to pay for the hotel? Do you do other performances throughout the year?
The Nutcracker cards are so adorable❄
The kick at the elevator was amazing!LOL Fries and salad a delicious combination. Glad you had a rest day.

Loving the sparkly eye shadow and the xmas sweater! Much love from freezing Switzerland! 🥶
Lori! You are so soft yet strong. The perfect ballerina ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your Christmas with me, after loosing my mom, best friend and my life partner this year it's gonna be a bit quiet 😢. 🌹

Do you book your own performances or do you have an agent??
As a musician I find lipmedx really helpful for chapped painful lips.
I see you’ve been enjoying The Food Lab. If you have time, Simple Simon’s is close by and delicious.
Your so talented! I could never ❤
Absolutely love the outfit! Its my fav shade of pink! Would love to know the brand!
Glad you got some R&R today!

This might be a TMI question, but do you pay for the hotel or does the company you dance with?

Great vlogmas Lori. I'm so glad you're enjoying the performances, but have rest time as well. I loved the Christmas cards you purchased.
Salad ad French fries my favorite meal. Although I am on a cut with a plastic fork diet as I had oral surgery
Happy nutcracker day off
Do they have peppermint mocha year round?
So thoughtful that you got everyone a thank you card ❤
Did you say where you are? The town looks beautiful. I think you should do your little elevator dance on stage...very cute!!
Must be nice to just do standing splits just hanging out at the elevator! 😀
You're funny! I love nutcrackers, I have a secret obsession with them!! 🖤♥
