There are three ways to do this:
1. Ice
2. Boiling Water
3. Ice and Boiling Water
Ingredients For the First Method:
12 Small Ice Cubes (equivalent to 125 ml)
1 teaspoon of Powdered Saffron
Ingredients For the Second Method:
125 Boiling Water
1 teaspoon of Powdered Saffron
Ingredients For the Third Method:
5 Small Ice Cubes (equivalent to 55 ml)
70 ml Boiling Water
1 teaspoon of Powdered Saffron

The First Method:
1. Place the saffron flower stigmas in your mortar.
2. Grind with the pestle until you have powdered the saffron.
3. Pour 12 cubes of ice into a glass or ceramic container.
4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of saffron powder onto the ice. Use ice made from purified, non-chlorinated water if possible.
5. Cover with a lid and leave the saffron and ice at room temperature in a shaded area. While it doesn't have to be completely dark, avoid exposing saffron to direct sunlight.
6. Once the ice has completely melted, you will have a beautiful reddish liquid. Add this to any dish or beverage, adjusting the amount to suit your taste.
The Second Method:
1. Place the saffron flower stigmas in your mortar.
2. Grind with the pestle until you have powdered the saffron.
3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of saffron powder into a glass or ceramic container.
4. Pour 125 ml of boiling water over the powdered saffron
5. Cover with a lid and let sit for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. leave the saffron and Boiling water at room temperature in a shaded area. While it doesn't have to be completely dark, avoid exposing saffron to direct sunlight.
6. After 30 minutes to 1 hour, it is ready.
The Third Method:
1. Place the saffron flower stigmas in your mortar.
2. Grind with the pestle until you have powdered the saffron.
3. Pour 5 cubes of ice into a glass or ceramic container.
4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of saffron powder onto the ice. Use ice made from purified, non-chlorinated water if possible.
5. Cover with a lid and leave the saffron and ice at room temperature in a shaded area. While it doesn't have to be completely dark, avoid exposing saffron to direct sunlight.
6. Once the ice has completely melted, add 70 ml of boiling water, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
7. After 15 to 20 minutes, it is ready.
*Your saffron liquid brew can be safely stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. Ensure it is properly covered before refrigerating.
With these 3 simple brewing methods, you will have beautifully colored saffron.
