The UFC needs to spend $20 million on hiring the best UA-cam and social media experts in the world and do a training class every 3 months to teach their entire roster on how to be more marketable. The entire sport is based on social media exposure. It's insane that they aren't teaching their fighters the basic principles of marketing. It's unacceptable.

Carroll needs a big platform. PFL should sign him for this Europe segment of the business. “Putin’s Russia” is a perfect comparison.
It does get a bit old that every Ireland based fighter in Bellator is SBG. It gets old. Many of them are average fighters too.
Most of the big gyms here in Ireland are affiliated with sbg, facilities become better and trainers can float around easier I think. I know a guy here locally who's gym is his own but would probably fight under the sbg banner.

I was just having a conversation about the lack of talent and new prospects in UFC. I wonder if it has to do with how hard it is for most UFC fighters to make a living fighting full time unless you're champion.UFC is dying, and thats why they are really pushing these false narratives now.PFL or ONE might be the next big thing.Dana played himself into a corner.He acted to elite and lost too many good fighters.Dana won't even do a cross promotional show to find out who is the best in the world. He is scared that we will really see how good or bad UFC fighters are.
The ufc has by far the deepest divisions but the bellator champs for the most part might be better than there champs. When the espn deal is up I'd be interested to see where they pivot because the shite fight night cards are a direct response to being contracted into delivering a certain amount of cards per year. I'd love to see a monthly card but it absolutely stacked, that way we can build towards a card and digest a card afterwards. I'd then have the contender series have all the lower tier guys who want to brake into top 15-20 compete to transition into the ppvs

Stacked means many good prospects and many good veterans. it's not stacked when there are only a couple guys that are ?'s and a couple established okay fighters. Fw has Jack shore Nathaniel wood charles jordan outside the top 10, 1-15 is great and 3 real contenders are tuporia allen and evloev along with the ortegas ect. I'm not listing every single division so you get my drift, definitely tapers off as you get to mw but jesus pereira came out of know where mma wise and won the belt. The ufc is not dieing but the model and over saturation is hurting it. Also the president slapping his wide hurts the brand. The issue is stars, they were spoiled for years with gsp Jones silva diaz brock and then ronda and conor. They need an energetic fan friendly champ that keeps defending a belt and building interest. O malley could fit that bill but its a very hard task to hold that belt. I'm irish so I don't know where the USA fighters are but christ the khabib look a likes are whooping ass a lot.

This is awesome. I’m happy for Dan and excited for his new role with the PFL and I agree. Dana has definitely overstayed his welcome at the UFC. It’s actually crazy a cardio kickboxer has more say than Sean Shelby & Mick Maynard when they’re both actual trained athletes.
Dana is one of the founders, and still a share holder of the business, Sean and Mick are simply paid employees. You obviously don't know anything about corporate structure. Dana was also a hotel bell man once, doesn't make him any less of an entrepreneurial success.

His huge neck and shoulder area from decades of wrestling probably saved Colby from serious injury. Secondly, why are these two fellows not talking about Belal Mohammed’s racist tweet stereotyping Caucasian people, suggesting that the organization favours fighters of a certain skin pigmentation? Colby called the racist out and good for him. Jon Jones has received more favours than any other fighter, repeated drug test failures, repeated domestic violence incidents and vicious racial slurs directed at police just doing their jobs and arresting Jones for domestic abuse and impaired driving. Has anybody suggested that this is because of his skin color that he gets preferential treatment? No, of course not. That would be racist.

Pfl structure is different, there's so much technicality that can happen to put lesser fighters in the finals over better fighters. So much can happen especially with points. They have a harder grind through a short time in between fights too. Bubba Jenkins is a great fighter, put some respect on his name.
