succulent box,i have a prickly pear just like yours,but it isnt growing.i put it out in direct sun for months and its still not growing a new pad.what should i do to encourage it to grow new pad?[i got put ferteliser but it still does not work]

Do the spines jump on to your skin??? Geez...they got on my arms!!
You should use gloves and a long-sleeve t-shirt to protect your hands and arms.
