Katie!!! it doesnt matter if you didnt get in Stanford! I am proud of you for getting in UCLA, USC, and Berkeley and probably even more. They are great schools and can really help you in the end. Choose from what you have. The other schools who didnt get you made a huge mistake for not letting you in. Know that you are beautiful inside and out. You inspire me to be better and dream big and I really adore you for that. Thank you and God bless!

I don't know what the IBs are but I thought you said in one of the videos that you won't be fine with those until some time in May.Does that mean you're given extra time before having to make a decision to one of the US schools?So you know when you'll decide???
Katie Tracy I thought all students had to make a decision by May 1st, that's why I was confused how you were able to wait until after the fact. I wasn't sure if you were given an extension because you're international and your international applications are on a different timeline. Other students have mentioned that if they stayed on a colleges waitlist, they were giving up their spot at the schools they already got in to. This was due to decisions being due by May 1st, yet waitlist updates not coming out until later. It's like gambling because of they don't get in to their waitlist schools, they're screwed because they missed the deadline for all the other schools

US college apps are still like a "lottery" even if you get perfect scores! They also value extracurriculars and other components of your application compared to other country systems that prioritize academics and scores more.

Do you mean the waitlists for colleges? I haven’t finalized my decision because I’m still waiting for all schools to reply. :)
