I have been looking forward to you doing the Senator. I always have trouble with them in the late game. A few of the more famous Roman Generals could add flavor to the campaign. Scipio Africanus, Pompeius Magnus (or just Pompey), Julius Caesar, Marcus Agrippa,
if your doing Romans then theirs always room for bigus dikus. and for a less silly response. since its a fallen empire (fallen by barbarian invasion in lore) Germanicus would fit well.
Looking forward to this series. I usually avoid watching your playthroughs of factions I haven't done yet at least once, but I don't particularly care about spoilers for the senator since I've fought against this faction endgame more than once. I wonder whether its AI is better than most other factions or if the income bonus is such a big deal on Baron difficulty. Having just finished a Baal playthrough, I purposely added El on Marquis and I actually got to fight them midgame, whereas usually on Baron difficulty they crumble early game before I even know they're in the game. That kind of makes me think that faction bonus income and freespawn affect AI strength more than the AI itself
So I'm totally late to seeing this series, been looking forward to seeing a senator playthrough. You mentioned pronunciation... Less a suggestion, more a 'fun fact' but the Roman letter V was pronounced as a soft W... So Velite should actually be pronounced something like Wellyte... Sounds a little odd until you get used to it. It gets really weird when you figure it also means that the Goddess Venus would be pronounced Weenus.
It indicates that the spell may be cast by that unit. Ultimately the decision is up to the AI on what spells it will cast that have the * symbols checked prior to battle

I love these series, and would really like to see more plane videos!

Thank ya!
Been looking forward to this one.
Stilicho could be a cool name but Oedenathus is another

I definitely agree. Everything I’ve read and experienced points to AI strength rather than any strategic increase. I could always be wrong though
all the difficulty does is increase incomes. the AI stays the same on all difficulties. so, in a way, the % bonus can be a big difficulty boost.
Majorijan, the last true roman.
I second this motion
Not naming your dark emperor Sheev... Wasted oportunity.

really? that's an interesting factoid. weenus can also mean elbow skin, which I don't think would be affiliated with the goddess Venus.
@@joehearts1850 Yeah. It also makes Cesar's famous "veni vidi vici" quote lose some of its oomph.
@@imperialus1 you sir, floored me with that. Dang that's funny.
does * next to spell means that that person gonna cast it in battle?

do you play dominions 5?
Only ever in single player. I'd get into the multiplayer scene if I had the time
yo.. what happened to the video quality homie?
Says processing in the UA-cam studio. Not sure why it is taking so long to finish.
