You can use NC's mobile shield to block Caustic's gas grenade. The grenade itself needs line of sight on you to deal damage, so hiding behind his mobile shield (or castle wall) can protect you from the gas. This works on Conduit's jammers, Ash's snare, and basically anything with a circular area of effect.
