I love how laid back Kanae was about the time of the flight. She was patiently waiting in Starbucks with her friend probably thinking our flight is at 12.00 but I'm sure John knows and will be back soon. Little did she know that John thought the flight was at 12.30!!! 👍 Brilliant episode, thank you so much 🙏. Levi 😀
It was the right decision to wake up late and watch the stream having lunch. I had fried noodles btw (kind of like Yakisoba) and it was yummy. The Ramen spree went on great this time so, thank you John for the streams; absolutely loved it💞. I could finish thAT soup in a jiify xD
Very helpful video. We have just decided to visit and dine at the domestic airport on arrival in the international airport (from Singapore, next Feb). Hope they have lockers for our luggage. ❤️
an omelet with those spicy fish eggs and some green onion would be so good. And that eclair looking pastry where you got the cheesecake looked good too!

Hi, ciao John . I couldn't sleep tonight because of the flu. What is the remedy? A live stream by John at 4 o'clock a.m. and probably hakata ramen 😄😂!! I love ramen , but i prefer Shoyu ramen to Hskata Tonkotsu ramen. Fukuoka airport is stunning!! A lot of beautiful shops, restaurant and coffee shops. The cheesecake looks beautiful and yummy! Anw ,as usual , thank you, grazie. Greetings from Italy
Thanks John for the yummy video 😁. Question: is the ramen restaurant in the public area of the domestic airport? ie people not flying can also eat there
star alliance combines several airlines to make oposite alliance to frequent flyer. ANA, LUFTHANSA, TURKEY AIRLINES, SAS , SWISS airlines, LOT, and other are in Star Alliance. Those alliances make for passangers some loyalty programs and more.
But doesn’t STAR ALLIANCE need to have a carrier for the planes? It’s not a carrier itself so why an airplane that is labeled STAR ALLIANCE? Where does it fly?
@@onlyinjapanGO each member of S.T. should have at least one plane with huge logo as an advert. But every airplane of each member have small logo of S.T. (mostly in front of it). I think airplanes from Lufthansa has at least 5 airplane with huge S.T.logo and litle Lufthansa logo. Also member of Frequent Flyer program named SkyTeam (Air France with KLM and Aeroflot) has this logo on those members plains, but small ones.
I rarely drink more than 3-4 sips. I finished the noodles, the treasure then leave the broth. It’s too oily and TOO SALTY, sodium level off the charts! Leave it if you value your health, but it’s not bad manners to leave it or drink it. Personal choice. Very few Japanese drink it all.
I drink a little :) of course! But I never drink it all. Maybe 30%. It’s super high in sodium and calories. I don’t know many people who drink it and Jon regularly. It’s okay to leave it - it’s not impolite.
ONLY in JAPAN * GO Thank you. I'm glad that it's not impolite. I'll be in Japan sometime after the Olympics have ended. It's obvious just looking at me that I'm a gaijin. I don't want to act like one. I want to be the best guest possible.
@@onlyinjapanGO Great! I am glad that you got there on time. I hope your luck does not run out some day, when I see you hurry to a flight or train gate at the final moments. ;)
So there's an airline called Peach but their color is pink and not peach? Well that's funny. I also find it odd that there's a Japanese airline called Peach and not a Georgia-based one, most people think of Georgia when they think of peaches. Not Japan, although Okayama is known for their peaches. That cheesecake looks good, I've had Japanese cheesecake and even though I live in NY I think it's better than NY cheesecake. The Tokyo 2020 JAL plane looks cool. Out of all the Japanese planes, I like the ANA A380, it looks like a sea turtle!
Actually, I dont think 'most people think of Georgia when they think of peaches.' When you come here from somewhere else, you quickly realize Georgia thinks much of thinking of Georgia peaches. :)
I certainly don't think of Georgia at all when it comes to peaches. The first thing that would come to my mind would be China or Japan because when I was a kid I listened/read lots of folklore stories about peaches from China/Japan. The Momotaro adventure for example.
Expensive, but.... Starbucks' makes a quality mug. If you buy one of the heavy ones, you better like the look of it, is all, cause you'll use it preferentially. :)
The egg can sometimes be seasonned (soya sauce) and they bring creaminess and so much taste to the ramen. If you do not like eggs, you may order with no egg in some places.

Hey - There's Kanai. Hello and Hello and thanks for this video.
Hi John hi Kanae. John, seeing your astonished look at food is the best good morning!!!😊😊😊
I like cheesecake, so I clicked the like button.
YES!!! 👍😋
I am here sitting, watching John eat and sipping my plain bean soup. I could only image how awesome that ramen tasted...
Very helpful video. We have just decided to visit and dine at the domestic airport on arrival in the international airport (from Singapore, next Feb). Hope they have lockers for our luggage. ❤️
I was looking for them. They should have lockers or left luggage. I filmed the signs when I could in case I miss something necessary.
Love this, almost all planes are like full Decotra lol
Get yourself someone that looks at you the way john looks at ramen . That face at the very beginning!

Love homemade soup. Especially when it's cold out. Hmmmmm!
For cheesecake!
@8:48 LA has the same Hakata Ikkousha too!
Great ramen 🍜

Oh man, between the Ramen and the cheesecake, I am salivating. P.S. I hope you caught your flight.
We made it :) they were boarding our group when we arrived. Had time to buy a snack too. Security took 5 min despite the line. Incredible as always.
ANA, United, are members of Star Alliance. I've flown them on trips to Okinawa.

How would you compare the stateside Japanese restaurants to the ones in Japan? Are the stateside ones authentic?

That ramen though! 👍👏

hi what's the name of the cheesecake shop? going there on friday. thanks
What a wonderful hubby John... it is good to get this yummy cheese cake for your wife... she is a nice lady...❤

What do you think about filming a video at Sumida Aquarium? 🐠🐡🐟
Hey John, a quick question are we not suppose to drink that broth? Is it considered rude if we drank all of it? Because it sure looks delicious.

Did u get kanae some bura pie?
I got her a vanilla bean fluffy cheesecake! ¥1780
U should do a ramen challenge...
If you do I'll give ya a shout out with some fireworks...only if you finish though 😁🤗
Why why John! You always make me hungry when you eat Ramen.
I'd be very interested to see your take on dating in Japan. Seems very different than in the U.S.
Very different and yet the same - just harder for people to meet others (shyness and modesty) NICE IDEA for a stream!
John tell us you caught your flight..,✈️

No, I’m not into national chain shops but maybe I’ll try it someday. It’s never been recommended to me by a local - ever. Only international tourists.

It’s crazy . Too much advertisement, more than tv show. Can’t bear with it😡
What is the obsession with eggs in ramen? It's not a very expensive ingredient.
What does price have to do with anything? A bowl of ramen in total is about $8-$10. I think you’re missing the point - it TASTES good!
The egg can sometimes be seasonned (soya sauce) and they bring creaminess and so much taste to the ramen. If you do not like eggs, you may order with no egg in some places.
ONLY in JAPAN * GO Its your egg excitement that is funny. Food in Japan doesn't seem that expensive compared to NYC. Love the channel!!
