Every derelict urban area in our great country should watch this and has the ability to plant the economic growth seed and the country is FULL of old brick buildings that have the same potential!

I remember years ago right after DBAP was built a couple of former Duke basketball players had something to do with the property?

Yes. I'm in Beverly mass. We had a derelict 4 story ransome cement made giant abandoned shoe machine company factory. Over a 1/2 mile long structure....with massive smokestack! in 1996 Cummings property developer bought property 4 pennies on dollar and now it is the anchor of the city's redevelopment!

They were supposed to lure light industry, but restaurants and banks, doctors offices and just about every thing is in the mix. walkways, pond access and it mirrors your American Tobacco project. It just takes a little idea and enthusiasm to get contagious and city government to ease up on E.P.A and zoning issues with the BIG PICTURE in view. Great job!!!!!
