Yeh! You are right but I think 35 thousand vertices and 40 thousand faces are not a big polycount for this highly detailed gun😊

Thanks for the compliment. I like modeling Ak style rifles, even I have made a M4 rifle but I am planning to learn texturing and similar stuff 😊

How do you get correct thickness on parts?

Before modeling any gun i usually see a lot of reference images from different angle and that gives me the idea of thickness 😊

The gun looks crazy good, honestly, but , this is far far far away from a low poly, and you only did the easy part, the hell begins when you have to place all the edge loops and then take an actual low poly model out of it.
