And in a messed up way king even realized his reputation was to encouraging to the population and the heroes to sherk from it even if he dies. I hope that moment ends up animated so bad.

It’s a pity Suiryu was a one off character and not a recurring one. Despite his initial callousness/arrogance, he proved himself to be a good guy after all when he chose to fight alongside the heroes to defend innocent people. Reminded me of Vegetta from DBZ, who is still one of my favorite characters in anime because of his story arc. I think Suiryu could’ve become a similar figure in OPM. Guess we’ll never know.
