The bottom "hinge" of the door is also the same string? Very interesting. Will the loose end come out of holes near the top of the compartment and be tied off on small cleats?
There are two bottom strings and two top strongs. Four strings in total. The bottom ones will only be adjusted if I like to remowe the lid. One can make a version with them permanet but it is more easy to do hinge strings from the top.
I seem to remember that you did most of the design during your last navigation, but now building the boat, do you have modified something? Thank you Sven.
I don't think I've ever learned so much from someone saying "I have a little thing that's very flat with strings" 👍 simple yet very effective.
I like this! You blow me away! Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely boat making at the next level
The simplest design is the easiest to make and maintain. Thank you Sven.
The flush access door. Another ingenious invention from the Sven Yrvind creative mind.
So cool to see the development of ideas 💡 taking shape! 👌

Nice Design!
Thank You 👍
How will you access the compartment under the bed to get to water jugs ? Will it raise on a rope and pulley system? I am so in to this boat build !
I show you later. I will do as on previus boats. I have scruved down floorboards. A simple system.

I keep modifying all the time.
And very soon he'll be sailing this one and designing the next one...
