Welcome to the Eagle.
We've described the Eagle clan as cunning, tactical, and unmatched in strategy. They see all. Uncontrollable emotions and weak minded individuals are their playground, as they can manipulate the minds of any enemy that isn't mentally stable.
It's time to see how these abilities translate in battle, and how this clan has carved its place among the elites.
One of the Eagle's most intelligent clansmen, Baruti (Brendon Huor) has ventured off into the city and garnered unwanted attention from many a crime faction. When they all place a hit on him, they underestimate how dangerous he can be. Their assassins quickly realize that while their death-dealing skills are unmatched in the world they know, they simply become toys when they enter an Eagle warrior's playground. - Фільми й анімація
The eagle clan is my fav. Quick and deadly and with some sort of mind manipulation abilities.

this is so fucking awesom i have seen 2 of these videos and the fighting is so sick, i would love to see if this guy gets noticed and actually has his own movie
The reason I like Thousand Pounds is because of their unique camera styling and editing. I don't want this to be another kun fu series, the goody camera movements is what's so special about these guys and what I backed up for so don't change it.
Choreo is solid but it's the camera work, editing, and sound effects that make this drool Epic.
Correct! Just gotta keep your nerves in check when fighting against them to avoid mind manipulation.

Damn! These guys have pretty much everything I look for and love in a fight scene. They've got amazing choreography, great cinematography, and actors to do it all. Not only that, but they have what I consider to be the most important aspect of a good fight scene: It plays out like a story in its own accord. Every punch, every shot and maneuver looks like dialogue. I absolutely loved that last bit where he's shaking his head. Bloody powerful.
I can't wait to see this project in full bloom.

I am so glad that I backed this on kickstarter. I can't wait to see how they do the Wolf clan.
They recently finished pre-production (casting, storyboards, rehearsals, choreography, etc.). It's a bit more intensive than it might seem at first glance. They're filming starting in December. Movies take time!

It's really intense, the whole scene doesn't have any words, but you can tell what is going on by their face reactions. The body speaks words, nice;y thought out.
Damn, that was some amazing visual storytelling. As far as the acting goes, it's as good as anything Jet li or Jackie Chan has done and it's only going to get better. These guys are good enough to make a career out of this.
Wow....you guys leave me speechless %45 of the time. The other %55 I'm psyched and like ooooooh! He kicked him in the neck!! Oooh! He used Ken's ultra combo!!! You guys set a standard when it comes to Martial arts. This is truly the best UA-cam has to offer. You are all amazing over at Thousand Pounds.

His ability is AWESOME!! Seeing the future and making his enemies hallucinate to fight each other is one of the coolest and most unique power I have ever seen!!! Its pretty over powering though making him almost impossible to defeat.

This is reminding me of Fist of The North Star. even though its not as hardcore, its giving the impression. The pressure point analogy is also making me think this and the last strike Brendon did on the last guy. Clandestine is....no....will be something to watch. Keep it up guys and can't wait for more.
I need to see the Bear Clan fight. The entirety of a single clan in ONE person. This is just one Eagle. Imagine the power.

I love this series! Greatly put together. The Eagle fighting style is amazing. Simply awesome when the assassin's started fighting their boss and he just walks through them unnoticed! I would love to be a part of this project! I will audition if i have to.
Very nice clip, guys. I especially liked the part at 1:39 where Brendon's character predicts his opponents' movements and attacks. Reminded me of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes films, where Holmes predicts his opponents attacks. Well done :D.

This was amazing. I didn't think the Eagle Clan style would be so literal, but it makes things interesting. From the teaser, I'd guess an Eagle Clan member would be less effective in a one-on-one fight, or a fight with other many Eagle Clan members getting the way. Reading way too into things, I'd bet the Bear clan leader would have the advantage while the Lion clan would have major issues (to a certain extent the Wolf clan as well). Anyways, looking forward to the series. Hope you reach 75k!
I kind of thought of it like that too. Palm strikes of the Lion Clan being like the Hyuga and the Eagle clan being like the Uchiha with their precognitive abilities and mind control. Either way, this is a REALLY cool video.

looks like this video is what clinched the kickstarter and it's no wonder -- before this video I logically knew I would like their finished product, but I wasn't truly excited until I saw this.

Every time i think I've seen the best thing ever, these guys surprise me.
I can't say I agree with you on that list. And here is why:
-Andy Le's best performance (fighting Brendon Huor directed Emmanuel Manzanares)
-Micah Brock. I have fun with the stuff he makes, but in my opinion he's never outshined Brendon. He was really good in Wild (directed by Vlad Rimburg), but that's it.

I had a bad feeling when I learned that the eagle style included mind tricks. They are cool, but even with all the good stuff you have going on, I felt you couldn't play that off properly. Now that I have seen this, I take off my hat. Haven them fight each other thinking they weren't, beautiful.

Brendon Huor is an EXCELLENT performer, and while you might say his martial arts foundation is not as strong as the people you listed, you can't say that he doesn't own the screen. Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung & Yuen Biao never had srong formal martial arts training starting out yet they are some of the best fucking performers we have on screen. Brendon Huor is definitely good enough to drive a 70K project.
People from the Eagle clan seem to be more of an intellectual type but they have actual combat abilitites. Interesting^^ I'm really looking forward to the movie I can't wait!
Eagle vision is a powerful tool of Baguazhang. I was taught Lion style-yin, and have similar training stylistically cross muai-thai, tkd, and shotokan-ryu karate with additive Hapkido, kickboxing, and Krav Maga.
I love y'all's works. Someday I hope where I am will have a team which could pull this off..

whoa the choreography is really mind blowing, brendon huor is a BEAST TO BE RECKON WITH, IM SURPRISED I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA PLAY THE LION, BUT MAN THE IDEALS OF EAGLE FIGHTING STYLE IS VERY CACULATIVE I DO SO LOVE IT, BUT PLZ DONATE MORE BECAUSE THE CG EFFECTS REALLY NEED MORE WORK IN THEM 0♥0
Loved this teaser guys can't wait till the real series comes out. Loved the action scenes and I can tell this will be an awesome story. Brendon's awesome but I'm so looking forward to seeing the Lion Clan in action. I'm backing Thousand Pounds all the way!

Holy crap, the Eagle Clan has some pretty awesome mind tricks.
Badass! It seems the eagle style is mostly defense or interception, very well thought out style.
So this guy has strength, agility and speed. Not to mention the byakukyan-type fighting style and the ability to see into the future/predict his opponents moves and react to them accordingly. To top it off, he has some Genjutsu-type ability which tricks his opponents into slaughtering each other.
This guy is invincible.
That last punch to the back of that guy's head, am I the only one who thought the guy's head was gonna explode? lol
And at the beginning it looks like he's able to see the future a little bit too. He can see every move they're about to use (Sharingan) and that way he can counter them a second earlier and save his energy, conserving his stamina/allowing him to fight longer. That way he uses the minimal amount of energy to take any opponent out. If their mind is weak enough, he doesn't have to hit them at all. He can simply make them see what he wants (such as themselves being tortured for 1000 years).

I find this all do intriguing and really hope this project pulls through.
Looking at the comments there is a lot of picky people here. They did do this without the money from Kickstarter, imagine their potential if the project is successful in making its goal.
The fighting style alone is amazing, I love you Thousand Pounds and hope have great success with action videos so I may continue to enjoy it.
Eagles looks like it got some inspiration from the sharingan but it looks wayy better nice work guys
-Jimmy Chiu. Jimmy hasn't had a real chance to shine yet. We have not seen his potential. Why do I say this, because, in all honesty, and without any egotism, has not worked with the people that will bring out the best in him.
-Brian Le. He's good. But he does not outshine Brendon.
-Allen Jo (the only time anyone has seen this man was when he was working with Vlad Rimburg.) Yes. This man is amazing. The look, the skills, everything.

i was hoping, he was watching on the roof, and made them think that they were all fighting him. when in reality, he wasnt really there. they were all just fighting among themselves. caused by his "hypnosis" or whatever it was. . its just a thought though .. anyway its still freaking awesome . cant wait for this

I think that's why they started a kickstarter, to get all these basic items and more. Brendon's choreography is far above average in my opinion. I thought the pace of the fighting was good enough considering the small space and the amount of enemies there were.
take into consideration that they're indie film makers, they sure did make the best of what they had at the time (with their current budget). In summary, excellent performance and impressive choreography.
Eagle Clan fihting style. (Y)
Apparently some of you miss what the purpose of a teaser trailer actually is. Since when has a "teaser" trailer shown anything about the storyline? At best you get a glimpse of the main character for an upcoming superhero movie. Here they had shown just some of the abilities of an Eagle clan member and some of the ways it can be implemented into the choreography. Being a teaser trailer, expect these abilities displayed in some real intricate choreo upon its actual release.
I'm actually being serious, when I get a job, I'm gonna donate atleast £100 to you guys! You guys honestly and seriously deserve every penny for what you have and what you are doing for us fans entertainment! I hope you guys go high and get famous!

i mean, the guy with the knife nearly threw him for a loop. he didnt see it coming, just his experience is what allowed him to be able to handle him quickly and then turn his attention back towards the other two guys charging him.
He's using Genjutsu (mind tricks) (illusions) to make them think they're fighting him but they're really all fighting each other.
That genjutsu shit freaked me out. At first I didn't get it but now I do.

I think the director adapted the camera movement (I don't know if I'm using the right terminology) of Final Fantasy: Advent Children to live action fights. Thousand Pound videos seem to capture the feel of that movie which is always cool.
The word epic still couldn't sum up the awesomeness of this video
