- Grading the driveway with a pull type grader box in anticipation of some special company that we're expecting. I don't have much time to get things looking good around home but we will use what time we've got to spruce up the driveway and clean up a little clutter.

This is probably one of my favorites that i continue to watch.... THe way you prepare for a visitor to your home is inspiring!.... Your go to spot is the driveway, not surprising at all!
Sometimes I don't even turn the vacuum cleaner on. I just make lines in the carpet. Then I take a drive to admire Neil's driveway. It gives me hope, and restores my faith in humanity.
Haha! I used to do that with my farm implements on the living room floor too. Didn't even have to get the vacuum out! Driveway was getting bad from the school bus going through here twice a day! Feels better now... :)

Thanks Ron! That was the best accidental shot I've ever had! I was watching the screen and just cringing as I saw them flying past, expecting a collision. Turned out pretty cool though!

So every time I see one of Neil's videos with that grader blade, I think I need to get to be close enough friends with Neil someday so he'll make me one of those blade and I can buy it from him. I've just recently found your channel, which is weird because I saw the TTWT dog fence episode. I just wanted to say how impressive it is that all of your equipment and property seems to be meticulously maintained and organized. I know it isn't easy and takes a lot of time, especially with a young family.

So most people get ready for visitors we start in the house... But you went right outside to the tractor and your shop... Interesting!
That drone didn’t spook those geese at all! And capturing the swirly pattern was awesome... just curious... was Brutus dizzy by the time you were done?
After all the plotting and planning... I didn’t put a urinal in my shop! It would have been easy. I just didn’t think of it.
I remembered the coffee pot, fridge, dart board, big screen TV and obligatory stereo speakers. I mean at my advanced age... when you couple age related dementia with old man incontinence... Anything that breaks the creative chain of thought... is a problem. And due to the coffee pot and the fridge... I have a lot of interruptions!!! Thanks for adding it to my project list.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you and Tim cook up. Two DIY chefs in the same kitchen... we’d better put Emergency Response on speed dial!!!
Haha! That urinal is one of the best features in my shop! I bought that at a flea market nearly 15 years before I built the barn. I knew I'd have a place for it one day, even despite the fact my wife tried to sell it at one of our garage sales a couple times! Apparently I'm the only one that spots a used urinal at a yard sale and is willing to carry it back to the truck! We had a good time with Tim here and the project we cooked up wish electrifying to say the least!

It was the original farmstead that went with the acres here of this farm but we bought the house and 2 acres in 2003. Thanks for checking out my video!
I think you should put a predator motor from harbor freight in bill we she put one on our log splitter mini skidsteer and our concrete saw 👍🏻
A lot of people really endorse the predator. Might be a good option.

What work pants are you wearing & would you recommend them?
I wear two different brands of these style of pants and I like them both. I don't wear jeans at all anymore cause these are comfortable and the pockets are so much better. I highly recommend either brand but the Eddie Bauer brand is better quality and what I tend to favor.

I love old John Deere tractors, but I can’t find them anywhere. Have you ever found one of those tractors on marketplace before?
Currently two of my five tractors I found on marketplace. But this past year has been tough!

Hey Neil! I am a city kid who’s looking for a good mower. What do you recommend in the $1500 range?
Hi Zach. You can't go wrong with a well running 318 or sometimes you can now find a 425 which is a foot operated hydrostat for around $1500. Just depends on what you want to do with it. If you're just mowing grass in the city, I would suggest a small zero turn but if you want to do other work, then the 318 is a great choice. It's a great starter tractor if you're new to tractors. Good luck!

what kinda gravel do you have in your drive way?
This is "washed" crushed limestone. Indiana size #11s. They are kinda small. But they don't have the powder in them.
How wide is the scraper and did you build it
It is 5 ft wide and yes I did. There is an entire video blueprint I did on it about a year or so ago.
What’s a set up like that worth? Tractor and all?
Well, tractor can be had for about $1500 and grader box is about $1200. I have upgrades on the tractor like hydraulics and wheel weights. I'd say about $3000-$3500 for full setup most likely.

@@Goatguy2021 My Dad uses it to pull his roller, sprayer and utility trailer since he has a zero turn for mowing.
@@digdrivediy nice I heard they have a bad engine that oil doesn’t lubricate properly but they made two different engines so I’m the one I buy has the good engine I believe if you go on a slant of a hill it will seize
