Couldn't agree more- Mr Blackwell, charisma, almost human... anything but that same old shit, even though I love all that "old shit". But, the Demon is getting old, and probably not long for this mortal coil. I wouldn't pay to see that set list- I've bought enough KISS stuff over the years for his grandkids to retire 😂

I saw the first tour and would go see him again because you never know! There’s always the odd chance he’ll play Watchin’ You, Almost Human or Love ‘Em Leave ‘Em. That first setlist was crap! But the good thing is they change it up as they go, so why not?
I think the set list is like that because it's easier. He might not be capable or lack the desire to relearn the more obscure songs.

I'm with you. I wouldn't go see it at all. I've been done with Kiss Live since the Asylum tour, although I did see the first reunion tour and very much enjoyed that show. I'd rather remember them in their hay day than watch a 74 year old guy plod around stage singing (or not even singing) his former bandmates greatest hits.

I agree dude some deep tracks, and never before played tunes would be way better. Almost human would be awesome to see live, I always loved that track. I remember listening to it on 8track. Ace is going to make people mad not playing more 10,000 volts. It's over 2 million listens and is the reason people are hyped. Their going to be mad without the main 4 songs. Ace is adding shows on the strength of the new album and 1 tune will leave disappointed.

He's coming to my town in the middle of Finland this summer. However, it's a yearly festival with drunk idiots, tents and sweat, which is a deal breaker for me. Gene's band is actually the billed as the headliner, along with The Prodigy, and will play at the very end. I'm sure that most people will go for The Prodigy, not Gene. I've never known a single person in Finland that listened to Kiss.

They don’t need to do setlists for the casuals… we can see a local tribute band do those songs for the next 50 years and do them better. Aces new solo album sold well and could have done 4 songs off of it. I do think Ace, Bruce and Gene should do a 50th anniversary tour together and do zero songs from the EOTR tour.

Ya, gene has a lot of good songs . He doesn’t need to do covers. MR Blackwell and world without hero’s would be great to hear live, or unholy and almost human. Anything off of creatures of the night and lick it up and carnival of souls.
I watched his concert and they sound great ..What i thought is why is he doing kiss songs .If there gonna do Kiss songs the real band should of stayed together and just played with there makeup off ...If Gene Simmons had this band and he wrote his own new songs and no kiss songs i think that would be better ..I dont know .Its just kiss with other guys ...Stay well
Instead of rushing out to perform again so soon after Kiss, he should've taken the time to put a set-list together of deep tracks. He won't attract the same crowd number as Kiss anyway, why not announce it as a deep cut tour and give the real fans what they want...

Yeah, Ace does the same thing, maybe not to the same degree, but I was disappointed with the Paul songs when I saw it. I also agree I wouldn't go see Gene with this set list either.

While WE have heard him play most of these songs...many people in Brazil may not. I don't understand why he would ever want to play "Lick It Up" ever. It is the worst KISS song ever and I have never understood how it is so many people jumped back onto the KISS bandwagon over that lame ass song when it came out. Especially when Creatures album kicked so much ass.

Hopefully this HORRIBLE set list is because he’s a part of a festival. Maybe when it’s Gene Simmons Band as a headliner show he will pull out some cool rarities like he did last year on his small club shows 🤔? Otherwise 🥱 forget it!!!
