I got to watch two episodes in one day! Talk about Fri-YAY! Just stunning. Those very tips are exactly what that kitchen needed. It felt cold before and now it’s so lovely. I’m really enjoying this home reveal!
Stunning!!!!! Another huge WOW by Sarah!! I just can't find the words to describe how much I love what you have done here. The mural, the refinished hardware, the art, the lighting, the backsplash, the cabinet and island styling all produce such a warm and welcoming space that anyone would be privileged to have for their kitchen. I love how the feel and colors also work so well with the other rooms that you have already revealed to us. Can't wait for the other reveals.
Love what you did here! Could you tell me what colour the what’s cabinetry is. It looks like to me that it is a soft grey. Thank you. Love your channel!
Sarah come to the rescue and adds interest, and a unique look again. In this case the homeowner wants warmth and a family feel, yet she bought a house with huge rooms that need a lot of furniture, art, personal items to fill them or they feel hollow and echo. She has 2 small children in a home that was built in an era when families had more children to fill the rooms. Even if you can afford a large house, it might not fulfill what feels like a home to you.
I guess I'm not a monochromatic room person. Color is warm, welcoming, inviting, happy and uplifting. Many locations including where I live, have long, overcast winters where all that white and gray is not encouraging. The leather chairs with a back look very comfortable, but its more gray. The mural is unique and provides character.
I’m always amazed what decor can do to liven up a space. That kitchen was basically empty and blank - like someone hadn’t moved in yet. By adding those “layers” just elevated that room. It now looks like a space where people would want to gravitate towards. Good job Sarah!
I think the 20 years I’ve been watching (I devoured every episode of Room Service!) this is my favorite house EVER!!!! You’ve honored the historic nature of the house while making it so current without being trendy! And the palate is simultaneously killing me and giving me life! Thank you thank you thank you!
Beautiful upgrade to the kitchen. This is the kind of information most people need. They don't want to, or can't do, a full renovation, but want to improve the look and feel of their kitchen. Nice job!
I for one would love to see her do a series on small spaces. An entire rental apartment and not always these huge, expansive spaces. I am going through a new phase of life and as pretty as this was, I find that her ideas don't necessarily inspire me to do the same to my soon to be small space. While it is good to dream and dream big, have pity on renters, change of lifers and lets see you trick out a much smaller apartment or home. Now that would be some good viewing.
I like the new lights a lot more than the previous ones, but the space honestly doesn't look very different to me. It's still far too cold and empty for my taste.
What can I say - Sarah is a genius! Take a stark unfriendly kitchen and turn it into a warm, inviting and lovely place with unexpected elements: a mural, tile extending into the next room and fun lighting! Bravo!!
Sarah, This was an amazing transformation! I loved the mural as a nod to period scenic wallpaper which of course references the age of the house. I especially appreciate you sharing your hardware finishing tip - so great to know! Thanks for all you do; I’ve been a fan since your Room Service days. Best, Karen
I like your new hairstyle Sarah, very professional and elegant at the same time. I don’t know if anyone complimented you yet but it looks lovely on you.
Good job with the lighting, new top lampshades. The wallpaper, fantastic! Monochromatic can be really cool and refreshing. I feel like the colors, though, are too much the same. The chairs or stools are the same color as the island. Why not contrast with white or a subtle pattern. The vases come from the same design, all the same color. Too much the same! Becomes boring. There must be some warmth also in Monochromatic colors. Not just the lighting. I love the backsplash. There you go, some contrast helps and is so important.
Love this. Love the decorating upgrade and the high-impact mural. Would love to see more gold statement-making design from Sarah. Also agree on other comments that it would be great to see more small space renos.
I fell for the wallpaper the first time you showed this kitchen and love that you've brought us back to enjoy all of the details. Beautifully decorated.
I have to say every room needs a hint of Sarah Richardson little done to this space but huge the results are a huge improvement a little goes a long way the wall mural is to die for what a genius idea also great conversation starter who isn’t going to notice that stunning piece and not say anything. Btw obsessed with how you used the black/charcoal accents really gives the space that edge it needed. Bravo 👏 another incredible project marked a success. You never cease to amaze me with the fantastic work you give. Well deserved pat on the back this house is turning out Fabulous 😍👌🙌
I wonder if you should have painted the trim for the windows to match the cabinets in the wallpaper the white is in the same white is the wallpaper otherwise great video
Re-plating the hardware! Genius! I thought she was going to say she had to leave the finish. No, not Sarah! Genius! (It probably cost alot of money, I'm sure, but Sarah's clients don't seem to have money problems.Wish I could afford her.😁) Sandi
Hola, como van?, los mejores y más cordiales Saludos desde puente piedra, lima, Perú, ojalá que puedas venir en algún momento a mi país y que disfrutes mucho de todo por aquí, con la familia y los amigos, felicidades por tus vídeos...
Boy howdy, do I ever want to be in THAT kitchen. The paper/mural is spectacular. This impression has longevity...and then some. I get how you are saying there was no negative reno, but I am struggling with the idea that those 6 things combined can't magically be defined as a total reno. It's a reno Sarah. Totally a reno. See the before look at the after...RENO. 😉 Simply perfection.
Sarah I love what you did , yet the tree wall why...... that doesn’t make me feel like staying there. Run for the hill! . Not everyone is going to always like, the client in the end is the true test.
I really like this kitchen…. But I’d love to see it in the evening with the lights on… you spoke about the bulbs, their warm color tone, and their dimmibility (not a work..lol…) but while you were describing all of that it would have been nice to insert a video clip of the kitchen at night with the shades down, etc..,
Just subscribed, thanks, Sarah, it is refreshing to see no demo done, instead enhancing what was already in that kitchen. It turned out looking great place to hang out, more functional with stools, and warmer with the lights. Great tip by the way, we can get Phillips anywhere in the world. 😃
Ok so this applies to recently renovated kitchens. So! Don't redo your recent reno, just paint the walls, change the curtains, get a new rug. Ok. Makes sense. Does not apply to a 30 year old kitchen. Lol.
I watched Sarah on HGTV YEARS ago and have missed her every since!!! I’m so VERY GLAD that I found her again!! If you only knew how excited I am!! Thank you Sarah, for not disappearing forever.
I’m surprised Sarah like 2700k. IMO it makes everything look dingy. I changed all overhead lighting to 4000k and it makes everything look true to the color it is.
I got to watch two episodes in one day! Talk about Fri-YAY! Just stunning. Those very tips are exactly what that kitchen needed. It felt cold before and now it’s so lovely. I’m really enjoying this home reveal!
and the Art! you added fabulous art!
That island needs its own coast guard.
Love all of it. So glad I found your channel

No words....the kitchen is just THAT beautiful!!!!!!
Love the way you recreate, blend and incorporate. The grey goes so nice with the brass. Gorgeous! 🤗💋
Beautiful Sarah!
Sarah, I meant to ask you, please, please do a special vídeo about tv’s an how to incorporate it into the design.
Love what you did here! Could you tell me what colour the what’s cabinetry is. It looks like to me that it is a soft grey. Thank you. Love your channel!
Wow! 🤩

Gorgeous! Love the mural especially! Great to see how to deal with a space that you can't re-design in a physical way. Thank you.

How about decorating an RV? Talk about small spaces and newbie retirees who have whittled 4000 sq feet of junk into 750 sq feet.
I like the new lights a lot more than the previous ones, but the space honestly doesn't look very different to me. It's still far too cold and empty for my taste.
The designer after the build can only do so much. We made a big mistake building without one and will never do it again
Oh my, what a beautiful result! My kitchen needs this 😃.
What can I say - Sarah is a genius! Take a stark unfriendly kitchen and turn it into a warm, inviting and lovely place with unexpected elements: a mural, tile extending into the next room and fun lighting! Bravo!!

I loved her lighter hair style. As we get older, lighter keeps us looking a little younger lol.
Absolutely LOVE that mural! Nice to see what an impact those changes can make!
Still more of the same sameness that is ruling home decor for how many years now??....neutrals,grays,whites. Needs colour and warmth.
I think it’s gorgeous. You can use whatever colors you like in your own home.
OMG -- replating the hardware -- shut the front (cabinet) door! Brilliant! Love that mural too!
Good job with the lighting, new top lampshades. The wallpaper, fantastic! Monochromatic can be really cool and refreshing.

I get WAY too excited for Sarah videos! My hero since 2005!!!
Fantastic job Sarah!
I can’t wait to see the finished house.
I know it will be Fabulous!
Love this. Love the decorating upgrade and the high-impact mural. Would love to see more gold statement-making design from Sarah. Also agree on other comments that it would be great to see more small space renos.
Sarah, BRILLIANT kitchen redo! Every detail creates a warm inviting home hub!! Bravo!!!
Sarah! Fabulous tips. The mural! The pendants! The tile wrap around! Well, everything. This kitchen went from blah to stellar. Bravo 👏🏼
I fell for the wallpaper the first time you showed this kitchen and love that you've brought us back to enjoy all of the details. Beautifully decorated.
This is excellent. I was always at a loss as what to do with cold bear walls and kitchen. Thanks so much for sharing!!
LOVE the mural/wallpaper/trees! Love trees anywhere.Love this kitchen.
You have a gift! Wow! this looks like a dream
Love the mural! I want to live there

I love it!!!! Great job on tweaking what was already there.
Paint colour on light cabinets? Thank you.
Wow! Amazing what the change of lights over the island accomplished. fabulous!
Love the mural and the hardware swap but would have gone with barstools in walnut or white oak to warm things up a bit. A bit too stark for me.
I wonder if you should have painted the trim for the windows to match the cabinets in the wallpaper the white is in the same white is the wallpaper otherwise great video
I think a pattern would have been good on island stools.
Очень хорошо сделано! И как она права на счёт аксессуаров... Молодец! Well done!
Creative solution by decorating 👏🏾👏🏾
A-MAZ-ING!!! I love EVERYTHING in this kitchen!!
I love everything in this kitchen... Except the black hardwares. For some reason the black is not growing on me.
Amazing! How to take a lovely kitchen to a FABULOUS kitchen!
Re-plating the hardware! Genius! I thought she was going to say she had to leave the finish. No, not Sarah! Genius! (It probably cost alot of money, I'm sure, but Sarah's clients don't seem to have money problems.Wish I could afford her.😁) Sandi
Love it! Love it! Love it! Wish it was my kitchen too🥰
Amazing , changing things make such a difference . I was unaware you can replate hardware . It’s a game changer, thanks Sarah !
Love, love, love. Simple changes, dramatic difference!
I absolutely love this kitchen! By far one of my favourites! Stunning! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤗💕
YES!!! ...Need I Say More?! ...I Think Not! ...Just watch this video and see for yourself!

Gorgeous Sarah . . . Just beautiful! 💚
Sarah I love what you did , yet the tree wall why...... that doesn’t make me feel like staying there. Run for the hill! . Not everyone is going to always like, the client in the end is the true test.
As you say, that everyone is going to always like everything. You don’t like it, but the client loves it.
@@susannovak8263 sure hope they do they paid for it. Remember I did say I love what you did.
Thank you. The sprusing up list is a great way to focusing in on a room😊

That wallpaper mural is genius with the printed window shades. Pendant lights much better than the original. My dream wallpaper 🖤🤍
How awful to feel uncomfortable in your renovated home ..... until Sarah came and decorated.
The re-clad hardware 😘😘
Love the murals, I was pondering this/very similar mural for a square roomy powder room.
What is the light cabinetry colour? I don’t know if she ever said??? it’s gorgeous!
What a transformation. That kitchen just got Sarah-ed! 😊💗Love it
I’m actually obsessed with this kitchen! That mural is 😍
Wasn't difficult to dress up an already great kitchen. What about small or an outdated or a rental kitchen? 🤔
It's gorgeous! Fabulous job as usual Sarah :-)
Love all but the color of color of Roman blinds. Competes with beautiful mural
Yes, like all the rest of your viewers love your work, have been a fan of yours for decades.
But where do you place the coffee machine ?
You knocked it out of the park with this one. Just the right touches. Love it!
Just subscribed, thanks, Sarah, it is refreshing to see no demo done, instead enhancing what was already in that kitchen. It turned out looking great place to hang out, more functional with stools, and warmer with the lights. Great tip by the way, we can get Phillips anywhere in the world. 😃
Wow! What a glow up! Thank you so much for sharing! So much inspiration! 😍
Hi Sarah! Do you recommend daylight bulbs for bathrooms?
Oh yes, I’ve been patiently waiting for this and you did not disappoint. Thank you Sarah I love your work.
Gorgeous Sarah, my dream kitchen.🤗🥰
Could you share the source for a mural wallpaper like this? I would like to do something like this in my entryway.
She mentions the source right in the video
Сара вы дизайнер от Бога! Успехов ВАМ!
I wish you would do a rental location where you could not paint or wallpaper
Thank you! Your five to six no reno rules apply to any size area!
Ok so this applies to recently renovated kitchens. So! Don't redo your recent reno, just paint the walls, change the curtains, get a new rug. Ok. Makes sense. Does not apply to a 30 year old kitchen. Lol.
But you can still use some of these ideas to update your 30 year old kitchen.
Loved all the attention to detail. Beautiful transformation!
Wow 🤩 The power of decorating!
Dull kitchen to wow!!
Those stools look like they are from Costco. I generally like Sarah's work, but I would like to see some more interesting furniture choices!
If you find those stools at Costco, let us all know! Those are very high-end, leather stools.
It is a good thing you did not find your calling Sarah....lol
Stunning transformation!
You are pleasant to watch and your work is awesome.
Love the mural and how it's a nod to historical murals found in old houses.
Absolutely beautiful!
That is brilliant design! Love the mural and the lights!
The kitchen is masculine and feminine at the same time love it
No more gray! Aargh!
What color do you like best for kitchens?
Perfection, yet again !
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She is my favorite of all time!!
I watched Sarah on HGTV YEARS ago and have missed her every since!!! I’m so VERY GLAD that I found her again!! If you only knew how excited I am!!
