I was pleasantly impressed with the offers at Free RPG Day, notably the _Dragonbane: The Sinking Tower_ and _The Hollows_ quickstarts.

I really should have gone to the third store in my area, the one that's actually closest to me. I just don't like them. But there were a couple other things, including The Hollows, I might have snagged.

Oh nice, East of West! Been meaning to check that out myself for a while now. Hickman is one of the best writers around. I actually haven't read much of his creator owned stuff (only The Nightly News and The Manhattan Projects). But yeah, his stuff at Marvel is incredible. His runs on FF (Fantastic Four and then Future Foundation), Avengers/New Avengers, and X-Men are all excellent. And now he is killing it on Ultimate Spider-Man.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about his work for Marvel. I think this is the only thing I've read from him. I have the first volume of Manhattan Projects somewhere on the shelves, but haven't read it.
As far as I've read (volume 4, I think), East of West is awesome. It's been so long, though, I'm going to have to go back to the beginning.
