You had a video and commented about people saying why not just transfer to savings, why the need for games or something like that. I think I figured it out for me. When I play a game, like wordle, I create a debt that I need to pay. I'm good at paying debt. But not good at allocating money for savings. Your saving challenges (creating a debt) helped me save money for my first debt free vacation
I would always delve deep into the bills that I have and I swear, It's complicated to understand where I should put money at times and for what bill and ETC. After about 4 days of trying to understand where to put the funds, I finally understand where to put the funds. But knock on wood, I haven't made too much of a mistake and usually did it right.
Just the fact that you are really looking at your bills and thinking about where is the best use of your money, is awesome! As you keep doing this, things will become more clear and you’ll gain a better understanding on your spending. Good luck and keep at it! 🙌

Hi Jenn, I am usually watching you on my TV so I don't comment. I often comment to April because I am on Etsy or KO-Fi on my computer. Thank you for all your great videos and content. I really love them and appreciate all of your hard work! I sometimes binge watch them over & over.I am a late comer. I had no idea about savings challenges or cash envelope stuffing! Yes, I knew about budgeting, but that seemed soooo boring! Thus, my financial situation. But making it into a game is something I can really get into! You and April have set me on a new course and saved my financial life! I have heard you mention a few times about the ugly bills from the bank. I know, I receive them also. I wanted to let you know the reason behind this. We are switching over to a gold backed financial system. We are in the death throes of the current fiat system. Our government has been printing money backed by nothing but air. This is why we are seeing this runaway inflation, our currency is pretty worthless. Our new currency will be very pretty and have more colors in it, and it will be backed by gold! I have seen pictures of it. Not just our country, but every country on the planet will be backed by gold, oil and actual commodities that are worth something. You have probably heard about all of the countries joining BRICS. We are almost there. Also, have 2-4 weeks of food on hand as there is going to be a transition period while we switch over from the current swift system to the new quantum system which is very secure and cannot be hacked and manipulated as our current system has been. Thanks again for all you & April do. It is very appreciated! I love it all!! P.S. I recently heard about someone who got a peek at a new bill sitting on the bank managers desk! I have asked some of the tellers in my own bank about the new currency and they just smile & don't say anything.
Quick question: what do you do with the leftover cash budgetted/stuffed from the prior month? Do you add whatever was taken back and "reset the envelope" and set the additional amount into your saving challenges? or do you just continue to add and build in your own buffer?
@@2SisterBees Sure... like I started stuffing last month, so I am a bit new. I noticed that in my envelope we had for our groceries, we had a remainder 40$ in it. [which is impressive that a family of 5 made do with 500$ in groceries-- but we eat a lot of beans and rice anyway and those are the cheapest...] So, when I get paid do I add the budgeted amount [250$ as I'm paid biweekly] to this envelope and keep the $40 extra[it would reflect 290$ instead], or do I take it out and put it towards a savings goal or another budget?
