I really like this tool,because it's easy to carry being a mid-range it's not too small not too big very functional. My other multi-tool Gerber center drive is just too large and uncomfortable in many situations.
Hey guys, I noticed Amazon just increased the price on this to $59.95 which is what Leatherman is selling these for. they were $10 off last week not sure why they went back to the current price. I know I stated $49.95 in the video, that is what I paid for the side kick when I picked it up.
*I assume the ruler could be used to measure the length of a screw, or something like that.* *Obviously not very useful besides that.* *Also the new price seems ridiculous when you can find tools for 1/3 of the price with even more tools.* *I would buy it for $30, NOT $50 or $60.*
I don’t know if the ruler is even long enough for that, the only time I’ve used it is to check the width of a drill bit I found under my bench. Thanks for watching!
That’s a tough one! For my use case I would probably get the skeletool because it’s slimer and carries more like a poker knife. The side kick will have pliers that are sturdier and spring assisted. If you want pliers just in case get the skeletool. If you use pliers frequently get the sidekick. -hope that helps!

Just got my sidekick, already loving it! Used it 5 times in 1 hour (I got it for XMas). Super happy with it!

I see the use for a 1.5” ruler. I prefer to not say why though.
Do you prefer this over the skeletool ?does the skeletool have stronger pliers than the sidekick?

I don’t remember, it may have been paint or something. That stuff can be a bigger to get off.

Pocket clip is my preferred method of carry in most cases.
