Many say this is her best Halo cover. But for me, the one she dished out in her Robinsons Place concert in which she was wearing an emerald dress is her most definitive cover of the song.
Morissette Amon is from the Philippines. Mowie (as she is fondly called by her adoring fans, who themselves are "Mowienatics") just turned 25 on her birthday last June 2. As you'll soon discover, she's already famous among many UA-cam reactors who have already reviewed her awesome vocal performances. When Mowie does covers of other songs, she kills it. But when she comes out with an original song, it's so much tailored exclusively to her style, it's very hard to cover in a way that will outdo her rendition. There's a rumor (yeah ok; probably JUST a joke) of someone who was rushed to the hospital due to breathing problems. The patient apparently tried to sing Mowie's "Akin Ka Na Lang" exactly like Mowie did... but ran out of breath and fainted! 😁

Why is she not a household name in the Western music industries?
1 Asian music industries are NOT aggressive in promotions in comparison to the Western music industries.
2 Western music industries are too slow in promoting native Asian musicians.
This is changing.
1 established musicians from Bryan Adams to Bebe Rexha add Manila as a tour stop.
2 insiders such as writer/producer David Foster 🇨🇦 travel to the Philippines for recruiting.
3 The Internet forces Western music industries to change.

The money in Asia + from Asian fans are just too much NOT to promote Morissette Amon. Other native Filipinos also deserve promotion. 😎
