That’s what I’ve been trying to tell people. Someone’s lifestyle or a woman having an abortion is not our business. This is about our freedom.
Absolutely. You can disagree on someone's choice but not their freedom to choose. What's not particularly our business is the consequences of their choice.
It’s not even only about abortion. That’s just one aspect, which is why we really need to speak on this primarily as “Women’s rights” and “Reproductive Rights” or “Reproductive Freedom”. You can have a woman who doesn’t have any thought of having an abortion, ever, who has an ectopic pregnancy and needs to have an emergency procedure done to save her life and her future ability to reproduce. Is she and her doctor supposed to just let her lie around (in excruciating pain) and then possibly become septic and die?
So when does determining when the life of a child begins becomes our business?
