Just from what I’ve experienced, those 6.1s does better with Turbos and nitrous but can put too much on the trans/drive line, the turbo isn’t as harsh on the internals as the nitrous and superchargers and it really kills on the big end witch is good for those old nag1 5speed trans

Koolie, do what I do, take an old ball cap and drill a hole in the bill of the cap for your camera, then take a small zip tie and mount it. Then just put the hat on and now you got a helmet cam. It looks retarded but it works the best.
sabrom no need to, the old jeep got a 5sp trans vs a new 7sp trans . Also the hawk has better tires too. It's not always about horsepower that wins racing.
It's not just the motor it's that quick shifting 8spd transmission that old 5SPD cant shift like that
