  • Former Nickelodeon actor Drake Bell sentenced in Cleveland after pleading guilty.
The actor and singer, whose legal name is Jared Bell, was charged in connection to a December 2017 incident.
Last month, Bell entered a guilty plea to the following charges:
    - Attempted endangering children (felony).
    - Disseminating matter harmful to juveniles (misdemeanor).
Bell, best known for his roles on Nickelodeon’s Drake and Josh and The Amanda Show, faces up to two years in prison. Before Bell pleaded guilty, however, the judge noted that prison time is not mandatory in this instance.

If no one here could see what's going on, and just believe the girl because she's the supposed "victim ". Studying the body language, certain details, use of coping methods, and other information. It's evident she's not being honest. She begins talking using emotions of a victim but, soon is stopped by the judge & her true self is seen. She begins to talk again but, this time the paid & suffering tome is gone & she has to remember to go back to it. Drake also shows that he's thrown off by what seems to be a new accusation & couldn't believe the lies she is spewing. Her story hasn't been consistent changes added & left out. She's lied & poor drake had to go through this. Also, drake pleading guilty doesn't mean he is guilty. Anyone who's been in legal situations know that sometimes (not all) a plea deal is unfortunately their best option. Sometimes the client just wants it over & make their lawyer take a plea, the lawyer sucks & tell their client "just take the deal", and other reasons

@@edwincastillo8280 thank you for being honest.
She kinda looks like the catch me outside girl, she smiled throughout the whole thing and didn’t shed any tears. When his lawyer stated that the accuser went to 9 concerts while making those false claims, she tried correcting them where she supposedly went to 3 concerts, and when his lawyer debunked about the assault occurring at the hotel room the accuser literally agreed by shooking her head. She is then shocked when his lawyer said the things she accused him of didn’t happen.
She was also pretty much mad at Drake because he had someone else in his life. In the Mexican news channel “Ventaneando”, Drake and his wife Janet said that the girl went after his wife and had pictures of her on her phone with intentions of stalking and harassing her over her relationship with Drake, as well as blackmailing her with the accusations. His wife suffered through unfair backlash for the girl’s nonsense when she knows her husband never did anything wrong to the girl in the first place.
Not to mention how Josh went behind Drake’s back lying about that they were never friends in real life, but he (Josh) had videos of him hanging out with drake on his UA-cam channel so it doesn’t make sense for him to distance himself away from Drake like that.
If Josh was to stand up for Drake for being stalked by a super fan, they would knew that drake was this kind of person and Josh would be blacklisted and he (Josh) would’ve suffered career assassination because of how the media loves toxicity and drama.

how the hell would that be relevant in any way. whether it came out sooner or later or if it hadnt come out to public, it would still be wrong. he is charged because he engaged in sexual conversations with a minor. thats f-ed up no matter what. he's probably done more but just settled for admitting to these. she's a minor and a fan(huge power imbalance), why would she report her abuser when she's being groomed and taken advantage of? it's happening precisely because they(minors) don't understand it.
you dont understand why it's wrong to have a sexual relationship with a minor. even if the minor agrees to it, they can not give consent. it is wrong. teenagers' brains aren't fully developed. especially in this situation it's even worse because she was his fan so even easier to exploit.

37:44 is such a blatant act. Shit like this is why victims have such a hard time being taken seriously. He had already plead guilty to all counts. Noting in her testimony could’ve made him go to jail any longer. “I’m certain if I wasn’t menstruating he would’ve raped me” like dude you said it yourself “actions speak louder than words” if there was an attempted rape that would’ve been a whole other story. You can’t just say “yah Im sure he would’ve raped me” and expect the Judge is gonna smack down his gavel with “life in prison!”. Even though he committed a disgusting crime and deserves jail, I believe all the faces of disbelief he was making during her testimony. Why? He plead guilty to everything. He owned up to his shitty crime and had nothing to argue. He knew she was just attempting to throw gas on the fire. The dude at 46:10 literally says he’s never seen investigation of a victims plea during sentencing. Don’t make shit up that didn’t happen! You hurt every other victims chance of being believed!

He never plead guilty to her accusations of Sexual Assault.
Drake Bell was accused by a former fan of sending her "inappropriate messages" when she was a minor. She filed a complaint with the Ohio police & Drake was investigated for 2 years.
Electronic devices were seized & the Instagram/Facebook message file was requested. During the investigation, they realized that Drake cut off communication with the girl when he found out her age.
THEY NEVER FOUND INTIMATE IMAGES. There was also no sexual record in these messages.
Drake is one of the few artists who really takes the time to respond to networks, open DMs & share. In her case, this ex-fan (& her family) wanted to take advantage of this.
The girl's family continued to take her to Drake's shows in Ohio & were with her at all times, even getting Meet & Greet through contacts. She attended 9 shows in total following her accusations. This is mentioned in the trial.
During the final hearing, after sentencing Drake for responding to the messages, the "victim" gave further statements WITHOUT PROOF, saying that Drake had abused her. The same lawyers denied it at that precise moment, since there were multiple witnesses.
The girl was accusing Drake without evidence and lying in court, because at that time Drake began to make his relationship with Janet more public (when he announced his engagement).
There is also evidence that the girl wrote things to Drake like "I miss you", after the accusations & that she kept photos of Drake's partner, even sending her messages & invading her privacy.
Drake pleaded guilty for: 1. Exchanging messages WITHOUT KNOWING the age of the girl.
This was the advice she seeked out from him on Instagram.
      2. Having met her at a Meet & Greet, with other people present, since this for US law is "endangering" a minor.
Drake never accepted charges for abusing anyone.
Another thing that started as gossip in the United States is that Drake Bell had "escaped" to Mexico to evade his crimes, which is false. Drake likes to visit Mexico and has been coming for years. Your visits have absolutely nothing to do with your case.
Drake Bell does NOT live in Mexico nor did he change his nationality and the nickname "Campana" was given to him by the same fans. Drake came this past weekend (May 22) to a festival in Orizaba and was invited to a club in Orizaba and Pachuca.
We want to make it very clear that in the trial it is pointed out and highlighted that NONE of the charges that Drake faced have a record of sexual or abuse. So calling him “abuser”, “vi0lad0r”, “ped0phile”, etc. is DEFAMING Drake Bell. The law never found evidence for those accusations."

Sadly it's not just the aunts fault. The parents need to take responsibility for their lack of oversight. And indulgence of letting her be so obsessed with a celebrity. If this all really did happen. Here’s a bit of a summary to anyone who doesn’t want to watch the full video.
An obsessed little fan girl got her heart broke. She found out he was engaged and having a baby, and she was so outraged with jealousy that she turned him in. She admitted herself how obsessed she was with him, he was her idol and she’d do anything for him. There are so many flaws and questions about her statement. She pretty much admits that he cut her off several times and she just wasn’t having it. This girl probably threw herself so hard at him and would not leave him alone with threats to turn him in that he didn’t know what to do. She claims she was scared of him yet wasn’t scared enough to go to tons of his concerts over and over again. She has 0 strings attached to him. She doesn’t live with him. She isn’t in a relationship or married to him. She doesn’t have kids with him. She lives hundreds of miles away from him, yet she continuously made her way to his concerts and hotel rooms, but yet she’s the victim. 😂 I’ve never seen someone behave in her manner in court and get away with it. She either doesn’t have a lawyer to guide her or truly has no respect for anyone. You don’t get to yell at the defendant to stop smiling and to quit “looking at me like that”, or mock opposing attorney, throw your hands up counting your fingers; more less calling the defense attorney a liar, or speak to people the way she did. She acted like a spoiled entitled brat. And it sounds like if anyone should’ve been charged with endangering a minor, it would be her aunt. Her aunt drove her 13 year old niece around with a grown man in her backseat? Her aunt stood outside his hotel room while he “assaulted” her? Makes no sense. He’s cut her off, it’s pissed her off, she’s found out he’s engaged and having a baby so she did all of this and ruined his life because of her vindictiveness and jealousy. This whole thing reminds me of the episode number one fan of drake and josh where the girl is totally obsessed with him and won’t back off despite him telling her no. I’m so glad drakes attorney stated facts at the end. I’m sure the detectives thoroughly went through his phone and if all she claimed was true, there would’ve been a lot more charges, but there isn’t. She’s a homewrecking clout chaser

See, the difference between her & Wendy is with Wendy, she knew what she did was wrong & initially backed off & realized her actions were a bit too much when Drake snapped at her. He felt bad about the way he acted & didn’t perform his song for the radio station because of guilt, which is why he came back home & sang the song for her. She said that her biggest dream was for him to sing a song for her. That’s all she wanted, nothing else.
With this girl, she wanted a #MeToo moment & she got it because people are eating up her story & calling for his head to be on a platter, because he, “Got away with it because he’s famous!” It’s a damn shame when a woman gets a round of applause for destroying a man’s reputation. Truly sad.

@@alyyreising9597 The meet & greet was actually the Endangerment charge. Not the media's spin. Drake was charged for something that was a regular part of his job. He does these all the time & all of a sudden he's arrested for it? It just doesn't make sense.
I follow the Twitter account Fans For Drake Bell & the owner of this account has provided the statement of the victim's (former) best friend who had traveled to the the concerts with her & her aunt, as well as a video of Drake's wife, Janet who explains the many encounters she had with the victim.
This is a statement that they just released about what really happened:
"Drake Bell was accused by a former fan of sending her "inappropriate messages" when she was a minor. She filed a complaint with the Ohio police & Drake was investigated for 2 years.
Electronic devices were siezed & the Instagram/Facebook message file was requested.
      - Taken from the FFDB Project (Fans For Drake Bell) Twitter Page.

But idk she’s 19 state here in these proceedings but imho she still looks 12, point being age is hard to identify visually.
Nevertheless actors should do the job and GO HOME!!! No more of this groupie crap, professional and filmed for defensive evidence during autographs and maybe a handshake but that’s it.
If it’s VIP, make sure it supervised VIP with film to back up that nothing crazy was going on in “private rooms”.

The real M&E Torres It has to do with hiring older folks so that the more restrictive child labour laws of the USA don’t apply and filming can have less restrictions as opposed to hiring actual minors 10-17. Finding child actors say as talented as say Dakota Fanning was when she was young is actually quite difficult.
But this wasn’t this kind of situation, what you had here was a damn stupid fan, who was a minor meet-n-greet with a stupid actor meeting them in weird private setting that should’ve never taken place. So it’s a bit of a different scenario.

After the victim statement the judge said the case basically has no evidence, I am not saying he's not guilty of sending inappropriate messages because he did admit that but, everything else is basically believe what you want. Since there is no proof can people just stop spreading hate and rumors. (45 minutes in) There was also a private investigator that caught her in her lies. She decided to "speak out" after finding out that he was engaged.

He’s innocent. Giving advice is in no way inappropriate. She only claimed inappropriate messages when he announced his engagement.
