  • Butterball turkeys were on sale at Aldi for 87¢ per pound. I wasn't sure if they'd have any left, but they did! It was limit 2 per person, so I got 2, one for Thanksgiving dinner, and one for us in a few months. I also had 2 coupons for $5 off of a $30 purchase, and to use those, I had to break my order up into 2 orders, which was fine by me. I didn't know what to expect in the way of empty or full shelves. As you'll see in the video, though, Aldi seems to have a lot less empty shelves than other stores. Could it be they have a better supply chain than other stores such as Walmart? Whatever the reason, I'm glad to have gotten the turkeys, and at the best price in my area! See you in SHTF, my Preparedness Family and Community.

Thanks for the tour. I've been an ALDI shopper for over forty years.

I can remember people looking down on ALDI as a store for the poor working class. Today everyone I know shops ALDI.

My boyfriend actually went to the new Aldi just opened up. He liked it. Wanted a few things for quail egg omelets. I'll never use 70 eggs again.🤣Cats got some as a treat. Plate sized. Limited items but better stocked than Walmart in the same parking lot. Doesn't make sense. Didn't get alot as we went to a medium store yesterday. I was busy with other things to go to check it out.
Pumpkin is good for cats too if poo problems. Cheaper than getting it at a pet store. Same thing.

I'm glad he liked it. LOL, you used 70 eggs for a plate sized omelet? Seems like you'd burn more calories breaking the eggs than you's consume eating them.

@@PennsylvaniaPrepper Then washing eggs and chopping up stuff before cooking but tastes the same as chicken eggs. Less feed to get quail old enough to lay eggs. Roosters fairly quiet too. 2 omelets plus a treat for my six cats. We were stuffed.

Tilapia fish is usually raised on CHICKEN farms. They take all of the chicken POOP and dump it in the water for the fish to EAT! 😳

Yuk! I wasn't aware of that, but I am aware that farm raised fish is generally raised in bad conditions. When we buy fish, we stay away from farm raised and always look for wild caught.

Do you have a Lidl's in your area? It's another German store like Aldi.

I looked online, it does look similar to Aldi, but we don't have any in south western PA.
