Listening and watching from Florida. Atheist until 48 - now 68. Living to Love and Serve the Lord. Doing the one year Bible reading plan this year. Read the New Testament, but studying the Old Testament. After reading the OT - listen to your videos - 1 1/2 to 2 videos a day. So far so good - my Bible is really marked up with notes and my study journal is almost full. Time for volume 2. Thank you for this blessing - as there is nothing like this locally.

The passage about the bread also reminds me when Elisha told the widow to pour up the one jar of oil into vessels and she didn't run out until there were no more vessels to pour into. ❤

Thanks Pastor Skip for another enlightening sermon! Elisha's raising of the Shunammite's woman's son was quite unusual - it reminded me of Christ healing the blind man by spitting in the dirt and rubbing the mud on his eyes. I don't know why God sometimes does miracles like this but I'm sure there must be some meaning behind it. I also note the Shunammite woman was a gentile. And then another miracle to heal another gentile - Naaman the Syrian. Another curious thing - verse 4:35 says during the resurrection of the Shunammite woman's son, the child sneezed seven times. And then in verse 5:14, Naaman is healed of leprosy after dipping seven times in the Jordan River. I guess God really likes the number seven! And the descendants of Gehazi sure seem to have gotten a raw deal...the sins of the father visited upon the children ...God bless.

Heaven came to them on Earth for Ministry for 3&1/2 years. All were healed. He is not here ministering in the flesh as He did for that time. OT prophets wanted to see Him at His prophesied time by them.
So God uses the unimportant servants also? As with the girl. So EXPENSIVE Skip to go to Israel. So is it for just the Rich? Are there Affordable Trips to Israel?
One tattoo then another. Very beautiful art. But on the body? I do not understand this expensive fixation. Does not mean your not saved. Just do not understand?

He was a servant to the king.
Freedom to speak up.
Remember the Eunuch who spoke up for Jeremiah?
She seemed more free as a servant.
