In both of these stories, there's one element that I took note about. Some people would say that ignorance is bliss, but they won't say that it's only under the right circumstances. In reality, ignorance could be the biggest cause of one's own downfall. I remember a scene in the movie "the 13th Warrior" where after a fight, one of the characters stated that he could've killed his opponent from the very beginning, but he created a ruse instead. His reason? "Deception is the point. Any fool can calculate strength. That one there's been doing it since the day he arrived. Now he has to calculate what he doesn't see." The person he spoke to understood by saying, "And fear what he doesn't know." This is why I find it better to be respectful around everyone else, especially towards those I barely know.

Beginning of the girl in the video. If the pot is cooking, shouldn't her hand be on the "handle"? I mean it's obvious the pot is not hot if she can keep her fingers on it like that. She needs some cooking lessons. Do not put fingers on hot things, nor on the inside edge of the pot your food is in because of possible germs.
