@@LetsTalkAboutReaper I rebuilt my studio after letting my old Motu 2408 MkII and pair of 12/24 interfaces with a Mackie 32x8 console sit and collect dust for nearly 15 years in my basement... (life, got in the way) Christmas 2019, I bought an Apollo x8P interface, and an Intel NUC Hades Canyon (one of the only windows platforms that UA had specifically vetted for use with TB 3 interfaces) and ended my relationship with Cubase which stretched all the way back to when it was just midi and score editing... I tried ProTools Free version, and crashed literally at least twice per day.. I knew about Reaper, but it took going to MixCon 2019 and hearing the HEAD engineer for the Manhattan Center say to me in the main Lawo scoring control room where he was hiding out from the madness.... "Reaper is a better DAW, it has always been ahead of ProTools with features and was 32 bit float before anyone else.. The only time I use ProTools now is when I am FORCED to" I made the plunge and went all in and quickly realized there is NO reason to ever go back. Unfortunately That NUC PC was the only working and reliable PC I had at home that was up and running with windows 10 when COVID lockdown happened, and I had to hijack the PC to my home office and quickly get my whole company (full of luddites) transitioned over to working remotely over a VPN (I am the IT director and basically the whole IT staff) , and that Studio PC sat there away from my gear and stalled my music yet again until just about two weeks ago, when I set her back up and fired everything up, AND REAPER JUST FREAKING WORKED... Two years of Windows 10 feature updates later, and all I had to do was update the firmware in the Apollo, and figure out that my beloved MOTU Midi Timepiece AV was NOT nerfed by those windows updates, never to see a driver from Motu again.. But simply needed a damned 2032 button battery... Hallelujah! My last composition opened right up to where it was, and sounded even better than I remember it. I got the fire under my ass to build out a cheap used tower for work and make the cutover to it because a producer / engineer who recorded and mixed the last album I sang lead and backing vocals on said to me in chat "Hey can you still do vocal dubs in your home studio? I could get you some bucks if you can rescue this song for my client" WOOT! Studio is up and running! ANNND I figured out very quickly that I had exactly one template, and exactly 2 months of experience with Reaper for workflow. And though I watched about a go-zillion hours of Kenny Gioa videos in 2019, that was nearly 3 years ago.. I am in crash course mode now.. I am really looking forward to digging into your back catalog, sir.. I know I will get to a workflow and a command of things soon, but I can use all the help I can get. I had no idea this was a thing. You're gonna make a lot of rea-experts with all these cool tricks. To my ears, on my home theater system, I cannot imagine a sonic improvement to that theme. It sounds conspicuously perfect. Myk = possible kwizatz haderach?
Is it possible to show the ui in the mixer panel without showing the nodes. More to see eq curves at a glance ; in a similar to logic. As it stands the nodes obscure the eq curve
I'll experiment with it more after work today, but I don't think six at least not this way. My next video I have planned, I will cover adding specific controls from a plugin, as opposed to the entire UI
the "default settings for new instances" doesn't show up for me when right clicking the FX in the add FX window. Is there a setting i somehow have turned off for that?

Crucial stuff that every Reaper user should know. Putting vocal music underneath narration can be a bit distracting, though.
You speak the truth, I thought I had it squashed enough, but I agree, even at a low level, it's a bit distracting. Lesson learned
