so excited the leader singer is the bassist. he not a bad looker either. :)
Whenever you do a song from John it always seems to have to do with something you went through recently. His songs are always so relateable, that's why Skillet and their projects will always be my favorite. If you listen to his Podcast and their behind the scenes stuff, you'll see that he does feel that way at times. Jen did her whole Ledger album as a way to come to terms with her depression and stuff.
Def do more Fight the Fury, try their song Dominate Me.
If you're looking for a great female Skillet side project, you should definitely check out Ledger. Two great songs are Completely and My Arms.
Mind listening to Breathing Theory? A good song to start off with is The Darkness
or Eldest 11 with The Rescue
They didn't get very big. It was just a one and done I believe. They only released one EP called Still Breathing.
It was Skillet's side project I think :)
At a few winter jam shows I went to this year someone asked John if there would ever be any more fight the fury and he said “Covid put all side projects on hold and the main focus was skillets new album”. That kinda tells me something was planned but never got released….hopefully they’ll come back!
