- In this video I drove from Bali To Java Indonesia. I took the Gilimanuk Ferry to Banyuwangi, a city that many Indonesian on my trip in Java have told me I have to visit. Let's Take the ferry, and see what Banyuwangi is all about!

In the US, building a house is a lot quicker, starts with foundation, framing then bricks, inside we use drywalls. In Indonesia takes a freakin loooong time, but its much sturdier

The nasi campur you ate, thats actually stewed jackfruit not mushrooms. We used lots of unripe jackfruit in our dishes, it actually has consistency of meatlike fiber.
If you fry young jackfruit with plenty of spices, it will be like pulled meat.

If you ever eat fried chicken with rice in Indonesia again, dont throw away the wrapper. Eat it like how you eat Hamburger in a wrapper. Less messy and easier to handle. Another thing for reminder, be carefull of theft when you park your bike. Crowded area doesnt mean it safe to leave your bike. Grand theft auto, especially motorbike, is a prevalent problem in this country.

You should have insurance just incase you have accident all the way cause motor bike in indonesia pretty intense and different

banyuwangi has a famous spot for surfing many tourist acroos from bali with their surf board before pandemic, and that smoker 10 years old boy on the motorbike he just lost and gone wild like most of us did when we were kid here in indonesia 😂

I see that you have an indonesian drivers license there ? Do you need to have it to drive there?
you need a motorcycle license and an international drivers license. if you don't have that you can get an Indonesian drivers license. if you dont have it, the police will try to bribe you every time they pull you over
If you can pronounce canyon & singing, you can pronounce banyuwangi correctly
