i think your builds are just blowing everyone else out of the water very nice car my fav year corvette gotta love vettes thank you for sharing 🤩scooter out😋
A magnificent build. Any modeler ould be proud to put this one in their display case. I hope Revell put as much effort into their upcoming C8 s they did this kit.
Beautiful work you do! Coincidentally, I'm finishing my Heller 58 Eldorado - it's a tremendous amount of work to get it close to being presentable, so many pieces don't line up or have positive mounting points. I look forward to seeing how you handle it!
I'm going to join the chorus and compliment you on a job well done, and your color choice, that is absolutely beautiful. And, I must ask the question no one else did: What is that color?
This color was made by mixing. I wanted to paint the image color maroon, so I made a 5:1 mixture of metallic red and a little metal black. You can try it too. For now, use a little paint and make it until you are satisfied with the color.
I am building this kit at this very moment myself, but it's hard to believe it's actually the same kit. Did you used the tyres from the kit or are these aftermarket replacements ? I ask because the tyres in my kit are moulded really bad.
I'm sorry. I was mistaken. I used a product Mirror Finish by Hasegawa. It's a thin sheet of material that stretches a bit. www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/tf1/
The sheet used was Hasegawa's Mirror Finish TF-1. In the meantime, try searching for "Hasegawa mirror finish". Incidentally, the list price in Japan is 1100 yen.
The glue I use are Tamiya Cement, Extra Thin Cement and Cemedine's for modeling. The orange Tamiya Cement is a little sticky. The green Extra Thin Cement flows into the gaps. Cemedine's for modeling can be glued on plated parts. www.tamiya.com/english/products/list/cements/kit870S01.htm www.cemedine.co.jp/home/adhesive/handicraft/highgrade_plasticmodel.html
Awesome build, incredible detail, so realistic. But my favorite part is that color. Spot on! You're my new favorite builder.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. The '58 Corvette (and '63 split window) is a favorite of mine.
I too love the '58 Corvette, but I also really like the C2 Corvette. I can't find a better car.

What is the name of the color you used for the body and who makes it? That’s a very striking color!
Sweet!!!
well done , curious what type of chrome foil were did you use ? thx
Wow what a fantastic job,I’m really impressed, would you mind telling if it’s bare metal foil your using or something else, thanks in advance
I was using just a mirror film. This is a material that stretches slightly when pulled. Please give it a try.
If you don’t mind ,where can a person can get it
Please search "Hasegawa Mirror Finish" once. I found it on Amazon.
I am building this kit at this very moment myself, but it's hard to believe it's actually the same kit. Did you used the tyres from the kit or are these aftermarket replacements ? I ask because the tyres in my kit are moulded really bad.
Tires were used from the kit.The moulds for the tires were cut with nippers and finished by flattening them with sandpaper.
Love the color. What kind of foil do you use?
This color was made. It's made by mix metallic red and metal black at 5:1.
@@girigirioneroom What kind of bare metal foil is that? Mine always curls up and is kind of a pain sometimes.

Not BMF correct?
Is that BMF or another type of chrome?
This is just a mirror sheet.
For some reason that does not look like barometal foil
