This week we went to Tesco and the local butcher…I spent just over £70

I bought the Quick Cook fries/chips in that brand and air fried them with a tiny spray of olive oil. They were pretty good.

You're a brave woman Cheryl! My hair needed a wash once but I didn't have time to dry it. I suddenly remembered I had a tin of talcum powder in the model room. As teenagers, we always used talc as a dry shampoo. So I dug out the tin of talc and applied liberally. It was a fairly warm day but I didn't even make it to the front door before my hair started to feel stiff and hard. I checked my talc tin again - and then I remembered we didn't have any talc, so I'd stored the Plaster of Paris in that pesky tin! And forgotten to re-label it of course!

Nice shop Cheryl. I was going to.l do pork schnitzel for tea tonight had a really nice joint of pork so was going to cut it into slices , bash them, flour egg crumb, you know the score. Buy I just couldbt be bothered so ended up.doing the joint in the slow cooker so we had pulled pork with southern style gravy instead. Very nice , miggt do schnitzel next week instead. Do you get the tesco free magazine? Yesterday we had fish & chips , well I had a jacket potato didn't fancy chips , but mafe a radish tartar sauce ( recipe from March tesco magazine,l & it was delicious over the jacket potato. Just in case you fancied a change from.coleslaw ( I love coleslaw ) . It was very easy to.make & much better than shop bought stuff. Obviously tho onky if you like radishes !! 😊
I never pick up the free magazine...I always forget! 😆 Same as the Aldi one! 🙃
@@WhatsForTea the tesco magazine has some really nice recipes in there. Have done a few already from the march 1. You can also look at it online, but I like to actually have it to flick through

Try doing the French Fries (hot chips) in an air fryer if you have one. Give them a light spray of cooking spray.

Hi I watch your shopping videos, guite a lot I buy the McCann oven chips at sainsburys they are quite nice and they are not dry ever,
I picked up some cream of chicken soup too today, it was on sale for .98 cents a can. I have the Aussie hair insurance leave in spray too. My ends always get so dry,
Wow...here in the US, soup is $4/can
Happy Easter to you, I thought the chicken, and meat was a bit expensive,you payed in US dollars over 8 dollars for a pound of minced beef,here in NYC it’s 5 dollars a pound,and the chicken was just about 6:50 in dollars.and here the chicken breasts are 1:99-2:99 a pound depending if they are on sale,the sausage I don’t know about as I don’t eat sausage.I suppose it works out as many of your groceries are so much cheaper than here,especially vegetables.

I use a vinegar based slaw sometimes to cut the calories. I can pm you a link to the recipe if you want to try it. That is a lot of groceries for that much $$. Well done. Do you make a list and only buy things on the list. I'm trying it and it saves me a small fortune. I look forward to your Chicken Schnitzel recipe. Love ya.
