Hi i have a problem with aligment i tried with every possibities to allign(sky align ,solar aligment) it just doesnt want to work for example i aligned with the moon and try to go to andromeda galaxy it doesnt find it it goes completly of the galaxy or from moon to jupiter it just doesnt want to go to the points but back to the original point it goes everytime.I also checked the coordinates.I have the SLt 127 .Do you think i have to update my controller .
@@yannisschmit8180 We have the same issue. The auto alignment is not adequate at all. I have time, location set perfectly. We just gave up, find what we want to look at manually, and track it via the menu separately.
I have the Nexstar 8Se and my only complaint with the product is the single arm mount. I have had my first SE fall off becuse ot was rail wasn't sitting in the arm corretly casuing it to fall and shatter 2 mirrors and the front glass . I bought a new one and love it but I tend to use my CPC 1100 more.
@@AllStarTelescope I was devestated. A friend of mine and I were out just south of Tucson and I hadn't realized that it wasn't correctly tightened down and had started the alignment process. It fell and shattered the front glass as well as the mirrors that were down near the bottom (back?) I was so upset about it and runining my hobby, i used part of my tax refund and bought a CPC 1100 11" scope. I lov my CPC but it is so much easier to setup my nexStar 8Se. lol

Make sure your position is correct, use a phone gps app to find your location gps and you can enter it as a custom location.

You have lived my nightmare, I'm always paranoid quadruple checking I've tightened everything before letting go of the scope
