It's understandable it's more of a hidden gem imo. I'm glad I got to show what is in my opinion the best part of this game, the music. I hope people checked out the game itself after :)
Ohhh, Little Nemo!! I played this one a lot, a friend of mine lend it me for some days. The music get me since the 1st instant. I really enjoy your medleys, thanks for bring so good memories :) Seems we played a lot of same games. Did you know Panic Restaurant by any chance?
@@LloydTheHammer It's one of those games I loved when I was a kid, it has that "100% NES flavour". I tried to cover the music but... a bit difficult for me without the PAL version 😅
These covers are soooo good, thank you for posting! This was one of my all-time favorite games, although I can't beat it without cheat codes. Do you have recordings of the individual tracks?
Thanks so much I appreciate it! Haha I get that, this game is really hard and I've never been able to beat it without using save states! Maybe I'll try again someday. I don't exactly know what you mean but I think you mean that each track has its own video? The answer is no then, they are only in this video and in my DAW where I recorded the audio :) Thanks for watching!
Oh man wasnt expecting this, but I'm glad you did it! Such a fantastic ost from the entire game. Takes me back to the Duane and Brando days. Superb job as always!
"NES hard" for sure. Great music, though. I remember playing as a kid, and coming across a new animal to take over. We'd get so excited to see what it's special power was. Then we'd die like 50 times trying to get to the next animal. Then you get to the end, and think, "Why couldn't I use my staff/wand thing from the beginning? It's been on my back the whole time!" Great job, dude. Can't wait to see what's next.
I played this game just before covering this and I said the exact same thing about the staff! I was like why don't I have a proper way to defend myself but now at the end of the game I do? You can't even jump on enemies with just Nemo! Thanks so much! :)
I feel like the way you flash cut the video to each part is exactly the way my eyes would dart around if you had all of the parts on screen simultaneously. Great choice and execution as well
Nope, never heard of this game! I feel like I hear a little Baroque influence in Dream 4 and a couple other tracks, kind of like Castlevania's music has, but the vibe is completely different. Thanks for introducing me to these games with your awesome medleys, and sometimes reminding me of games I forgot I even played!
Thank you and no problem! I feel like the music from these games are so underrated and need more love so I'm glad I could help there a little haha. I see what you mean with the similarities to Castlevania. Lots of games on NES used these kind of music styles and vibes which is great!
Once again, great choice of music to cover! I love when people choose these not so mainstream games, and this one is pure nostalgia for me as I played it as a kid too :) the game had a certain magical mood too it with the dream-theme (hehe), and the soundtrack really contributed to it :)
Thanks man! Yeah I love covering some underrated games and shine a little light on the outstanding soundtracks! It's a great game but if the flaws I mentioned could have been fixed it would have been even better I think! Maybe it was just the hardware they had to work with.
@@LloydTheHammer Oh well, I might have expressed myself poorly, but I meant more like flimmering templates, weird pathing that makes you take damage by the enemies when you shouldn't and stuff like that :) ... maybe more of a complaint on the design a bit like you said rather than experiencing classic "glitches". Sorry for my english haha :D
How could you tease me and leave out what I call the Evil Trilogy of songs?! Haha this was amazing dude definitely one of the best and most underrated soundtracks out there.
Thanks dude! Haha I didn't come up with it actually but someone else gave me that nickname! I was the drummer of my self founded band 'Hammer of Dawn' for 6 years before I started this channel and apparently I hit the drums very hard so the singer called me Lloyd 'The Hammer' as a joke. I thought it sounded cool so I took that when I needed to come up with a channel name! Good to hear you like it! :)
I never heard of this game either! I saw the title when I first woke up and thought it said 'Finding Nemo' so I got confused as to why it got an NES game hahaha Btw I just thought of this, but does that wrist band thing ever get in the way of your playing and hit the strings?
Hahaha that happens to me sometimes too actually! I can understand why it could be confusing. Haha my wristband hasn't caused any problems while recording yet. I never leave the house without it and I only take it off when I go to sleep. Actually there is one video where I forgot to put it on while recording the Rhythm and Bass guitar now that I think about it!
@@LloydTheHammer Ah lol I figured it didn't if you wear ir all the time. It would probably dangle off my wrist and keep muting the strings if I wore it haha
posting this comment before this guy reach 1 mil sub.

That's great and no problem! While it's not one of my favorite games out there, it's a good game with great music imo! Glad you liked it!
Also the comments make me sad how many people don't know of this game, but also make me happy that you have shown it to them.

Gracias!!

Pokemon Silver
I love that game and the music especially! It will probably happen someday :) Thanks for the suggestion!
The opening theme kind of reminds me of the Underwater theme from Super Mario Bros.!
I never realized how similiar they are until now! Good ear haha. Both are great songs :)

@@ProjectGenesisMusic Haha that's so cool dude! I definitely liked their songs and I still quote stuff from them today every now and then lol.
I don't think I have ever even heard of this game and based on the music here that is a crying shame. Great work dude!
