I prefer this live version because Tony is such a great live performer. But the downside of this version is that for some reason it leaves out some lyrics from both ends and therefore makes the story a bit harder to follow and also leaves out an interesting glimmer of hope from a rather gloomy ending.

The singer Tony Kakko was in the Northern Kings video you watched. He's also a very good friend with Tuomas, they go hiking together etc. And yes he said "underwear music coming next" because they have a song called Victoria's Secret. 😎😎
Yes. From what I've heard, I think it was on one such hiking trip that Tony talked Tuomas out of disbanding Nightwish during a difficult time years ago.
@@HaecceitasQuidditas That's true. They started their hiking trips 2000 and they have gone through practically all the good hiking routes in Finland together. Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE was with them at one time and they made a small mini documentary about that trip.
Sonata is awesome! And Toni is a great vocalist. Performed many, many times with Nightwish and the whole band as Special Guest. Toni is a very good and close friend with Tuomas. They make these beautiful nature/hiking videos, where they walk and talk about anything under the Sky and/or it is natural "therapy". Both touring around the World and the life on the road etc..

Tuomas had already decided to end Nightwish, even informed the label about it, but Tony took Tuomas to hiking, and when they talked about it. After their trip Tuomas decided that NW will continue (without Sami). And yes, Jens Johansson is probably a big influece for many power metal keyboardists, especially in Finland. Jens has been playing in another great Finnish band, Stratovarius since mid 90's...and god knows how many other bands and projects.
