Everything changes. If it never did, we would never grow and learn and we'd probably still be hitting stones in caves lol. When I originally commented on this I was a depressed teenager who thought I knew that life was misery, and for a lot of it, it can be, but slowly, and surely, you get help and you wake up and you're still sad, but you know that it's manageable. And soonly enough it's more than manageable, it's okay. In the time I have had since typing the original comment I have had a failed engagement, had my whole life uprooted, became a published author (despite my poor spelling and grammar in this edit), and have found and lost hope so many times. I'm one of those stupid adults who doesn't understand kids anymore, but ironically I feel more connected to that hurt kid now than I did then. Here's the honest truth: The time will pass, and it does get better, you just have to work for it. That's the hard part. If you need a sign to hang on, here it is.

I used to have a best friend who was also my neighbor. We hung out everyday after school. He was always there for me and I was always there for him. Then one day that all ended. He was shut away in his house for a week and when I went to get him his mom would answer and say that he wasn’t able to go outside. Before I knew it he had moved to a new school. For a month I was sad and all alone except for one friend thinking my best friend had moved so far away. There was five of us. One day my neighbors came to my house and asked if I could come outside and play. And they had done this before but I had my parents make excuses for me. But this time they didn’t let me go to my parents for and excuse. They told me that they had a surprise for me and that they really want me to come outside. So I went outside and my best friend jumped on my deck. I was so happy and I gave him a big hug. I couldn’t believe it was really him. We hung out like old times and then he left again. And I haven’t seen him to this day and it has been three years. So I decided to change that. I told myself that I will find a way to talk to him. So I look on all social medias and I finally found him. I talked to him for a few days then he stopped talking to me. I had told him that when he was here with me I had feelings for me and he said he felt the same and he told me that I should’ve said something before he left because he has a girlfriend now. We don’t talk anymore. He doesn’t read my texts. He doesn’t talk to me. I regret not saying how I felt because it could’ve been the start of something amazing. But that is forever gone, forever over. I think the world got so depressed because people stopped caring about the other people around them. If you see someone who is upset try to make them smile. If it's someone who is homeless or seems like they have a problem ask them what's wrong and prove to them that they are strong enough to get through their pain. I come across a lot of people in pain and I'm not religious so I say "The world knows that you are strong and are capable of handling things that others can not so for the sake of others the world put you in your position so the people who can't handle it don't have to deal with the pain you feel. If you feel like you're about to break just remember that you are saving someone who can't be stable in your position. Have a good day or at least try to make the best of it." I used to have a best friend who was also my neighbor. We hung out everyday after school. He was always there for me and I was always there for him. Then one day that all ended. He was shut away in his house for a week and when I went to get him his mom would answer and say that he wasn’t able to go outside. Before I knew it he had moved to a new school. For a month I was sad and all alone except for one friend thinking my best friend had moved so far away. There was five of us. My best friend that was a girl, my best friend that was a guy, my two other neighbors and me. We all had so much fun together. But after my best friend left me and my neighbors drifted and me and my best friend that was a girl stayed together remembering my best friend. One day my neighbors came to my house and asked if I could come outside and play. And they had done this before but I had my parents make excuses for me. But this time they didn’t let me go to my parents for and excuse. They told me that they had a surprise for me and that they really want me to come outside. So I went outside and my best friend jumped on my deck. I was so happy and I gave him a big hug. I couldn’t believe it was really him. We hung out like old times and then he left again. And I haven’t seen him to this day and it has been three years. So I decided to change that. I told myself that I will find a way to talk to him. So I look on all social medias and I finally found him. I talked to him for a few days then he stopped talking to me. I had told him that when he was here with me I had feelings for me and he said he felt the same and he told me that I should’ve said something before he left because he has a girlfriend now. We don’t talk anymore. He doesn’t read my texts. He doesn’t talk to me. I regret not saying how I felt because it could’ve been the start of something amazing. But that is forever gone, forever over. I will never see him again and I still cry about it today. Always say how you feel, even if you’re scared, because you won’t know it’s too late until it’s too late. Don’t be afraid if you’re feelings because there is a chance they feel the same. Don’t let what happened to me happen to you. ❤️😍😘 You’re all amazing people.

You may not be able to change it but if you do your best to make someone smile and remind the people in your life that you are there for them when they need help you can make the world just a little brighter. I think the world got so depressed because people stopped caring about the other people around them. If you see someone who is upset try to make them smile. If it's someone who is homeless or seems like they have a problem ask them what's wrong and prove to them that they are strong enough to get through their pain. I come across a lot of people in pain and I'm not religious so I say "The world knows that you are strong and are capable of handling things that others can not so for the sake of others the world put you in your position so the people who can't handle it don't have to deal with the pain you feel. If you feel like you're about to break just remember that you are saving someone who can't be stable in your position. Have a good day or at least try to make the best of it." I just try to be everyone's light but I know I can't do it alone but I try. I don't know you but you have probably gone through something strong enough to see the pain in the world and I hope you take my advice. Try to be someone's light but don't let your light fade. If your light fades you may lose track of your smile. Please have a nice day or night depending on where you're from.
