Thanks! Bleached my hair last week and used wella 18 toner or whatever and it got most of the yellow out but left it’s like ash-blond. Also the shampoo stained my hands a little bit hand sanitizer helped get it all out!

I did mine with the Loreal newest formula ever pure purple but did it on dry hair I mixed the shampoo and conditioner together Covered my hair for an hour under a plastic bag and sleeping cap and all my brass and yellow completely gone 🙂 happy I did this Total success Now I have what really looks like ash blonde
I just bleached my hair tips have of it is platinum and the other half is yellow. The bottle says to leave it in for 5-10 minutes but im gonna do atleast an hour like you recommended. Wish me luck! Victoria Mann I usually just wash my hair with my normal shampoo, wash it out, then put the purple shampoo on afterwards, and wash it out with water and then apply conditioner afterwards. Purple hair can dry out your hair ALOT so be careful, maybe buy a deep conditioner
I bleach the front ends and the underside of my hair twice but it’s really yellow and I love how platinum hair looks with that lilac tint from the shampoo and I want it so bad 😭😭 hopefully this works

When I bleach my roots I put purple shampoo only on my roots on dry hair for about 5 hours then run it to then ends for a out 30 minutes. Always ends up an even toned silver.
Hopefully you will see this becuase I want to try this tonight but 😂 here are a couple of questions, when you washed you’re hair before you put the purple shampoo in it, did you still do the same routine like you usually would do if you were just washing your hair? And also the same for washing the purple shampoo out, or if you just wash the purple shampoo out by its self
i used the t18 before. purple shampoo is a product used to maintain already toned hair. so you use a professional toner with peroxide like t18 first, then once it starts to get brassy, use purple shampoo to get it back to normal instead of re-damaging your hair with peroxides and toners. so in a way, purple shampoo can be used as a "professional" toner but t18 will give way better results and i'd recommended using it instead of purple shampoo if you've JUST bleached your hair. hope that helped :)
Can I use purple shampoo to achieve the better wanted hair colour afterwards ? For example if I want electric blue, am I supposed to use purple shampoo to make my bleached hair lighter or it's useless in that case ?
Meh Fromfourthfloor You can try purple shampoo because if you leave it on long enough it will turn light like mine did since it acts as a cheap toner. But I would honestly recommend bleaching once more and using a proper salon toner (T10) to get your lightest ash blonde.
It would just look cleaner since purple shampoo removes stains from water or other shampoo or sunshine......the rays......or that gold....what ever is red pigment it pulls it out.....oh and since she left little longer her lighter parts got lil purple in it....

Trisha Grigson purple shampoo won’t lighten the hair. It’ll tone it. If you want your ends to be a few levels lighter you have to re bleach them using a low volume developer. You can TRY purple shampoo but it won’t give the result you’re looking for

Cheery Msp I’m a natural blonde yes, but my hair has been bleached. Purple shampoo only works on bleached hair not natural blonde because it has no chemical process. The purple shampoo is made to adjust the tone of the BLEACHED hair. Natural blonde won’t work with it.

Generally, I do my hairwashes a week in a month with purple shampoo (2 washes, personally) and I use a vitamin shampoo (l'Oréal professionnel, the pink one) for the 3 others. I think that I simply don't have the same kind of hair that you have ^^ but for answering to the fist comment, it visibly depend !
It worked in some areas. But it didn't end up beautifully like hers :( my roots was left yellowish. Some turned into granny hair (which i like) Some turned ash brown. It didn't work for me but it doesn't mean that it won't work for you :) i just dyed my hair brown to make it look better. And it turned out nicely.
no, its not like a colour treatment. you're toning the hair to get rid of the brassy tones and will only have to repeat the process once the hair is brassy/yellow again which shouldn't happen very often between treatments
It’s totally up to the users discretion, the only damage it can cause is dryness which a simple hair mask can help with! Where as leaving things like bleach on your head longer than recommended will fry your hair because it’s an actual chemical lightener. up to you

This video was made for people who can’t afford to buy toners and keep up with toning their hair. Purple shampoo is a cheaper, easier option for people who don’t know how to work professional toners. Blu Garcia you need a blue.purple based toner. Blue cancels out the orange and purple cancels out the yellow
She washed her hair first, towel dry, then apply purple or blue shampoo, cover, leave for 2 hours then wash out.

i always shampoo like normal then go in with the purple shampoo, and condition last because the shimmer lights is a bit drying

The silver shampoo is to make your more silver & the shimmer lights is to make it lighter blonde lol . That’s why they’re different
