T Spoon is a WARRIOR! I was a Liberty fan from jump, so I have loved her since then. That was a tough team!
Angel going 7 you telling me that not a blessing. That number alone symbolizes completion and the beginning of something new. Now we bout to see her go back to her natural position as a stretch 4 with the post play skill set added on. And a black coach hall of fame player who was coached by Kim Mulkey a hall of famer too come on. Spoon going to take care of these ladies and their careers. Chicago is a huge brand market with plenty of advertising agencies and a massive sports town. With several huge black advertising agencies too. Chicago is also the headquarters of the AKA sorority which has a grad chapter they van both join. Chicago has a large Hollywood movie and television system here. We also have a large financial district. The top black politicians of any state. Blacks are 32% of the city population.
The Obama Library coming. We have a good number of Black millionaires some with old money. Reese is a Goldman Sach ambassador for a 10B dollar fund designed to fund black women owned businesses. Plus we are a global city. Reese and Karmilla bout to blow the roof off the mother on terms of endorsements, sponsorships and such. The Sky is also partially black owned by D. Wade. I feel these girls will have safety in a multitude of consoul. Of course Im from the Chi, you already know In bout to hit the campaign trail. I too thought Reese or Camila would go to LA and Reakia would come to Chicago. But I think looking at the coaches for both teams knowing Spoon done been told by Mulkey and Stanley to look out for theit babies. I think things will work out just fine with these Sears Towers...😂😂😂

Everyone is about to be Surprised about the New Look Chicago Sky
Spoon is the right coach for these two. She'll coach'em up. She knows Kim Mulkey, as her former college coach, and she knows Dawn as a career long competitor. She'll get the answers She needs from them, and she'll build'em up. One thing She won't need to do with them is coach effort on defense or the glass. It's a firm foundation for a defensive coach to start with, but they're young. They're gonna make plays, but the mistakes will be plentiful. Maybe NBA coaching has forced her to be patient & mindful of her words, but she won't have to think about what not to say to other women. Angel is Baltimore tough, but I'm not sure if Cardoso can handle being cussed out by Spoon.😂
That's my #1 concern for her. She's old school. She doesn't care about feelings when she's coaching you up. I'm just not sure how crazy that part might get, since Cardoso is always smiling. American coaches...old school American coaches don't put ANY cut on it, but I think Dawn really has had to evolve. Spoon has coached NBA men, so she's likely to go hard on these women, since certain trigger words for men are no longer off the table. She's fiery in her passion for tough defense, rebounding, and TEAM. Angel is from Baltimore, so she's gonna respond well, but Cardoso's been in a white Christian home since she got here. That's almost a decade she's been away from the PJ's...and She was a baby. She's fine with physicality, but Spoon gets in players faces with an unhinged verbal assault. She's gotta lean on Dawn, until there's an understanding of how far is too far. I know the competitor T-Spoon. I don't know how a 21yr old rookie Brazilian woman will respond to her fire, having gone from the hood to a foreign suburb lifestyle at 13yrs old. She's in the fire now.
You worried about Kamilla being cussed out, I HAVE NO WORRIES about that she is coming from Coach Staley, Dawn cuss the ENTIRE game. Dawn don't hold you up with her words. 😂🤣😂🤣. I think folks mistake QUIET for SOFT not the same thing, where I am from real ballers don't have to talk they just ball. The fact that young lady decided to leave home without her mom or any family members for that matter at 15 (and not just her house a whole country) and come to America to change her family's life, came here not speaking a lick of English, and is entering the WNBA with this resume :

Man, after the draft and I saw this,,, 😮Aces is my team but dog Chi about to be lit 🔥. Initially said with.Kah, Dana, Mabrey, Reese & Killa. But I forgot about my girl diamond it’s gonna be a rough season a lot of ups and downs. Chicago is definitely gonna be up there. I believe the aces will be there. I believe Connecticut and Seattle.But Chicago watch you back.

I think Las Vegas will play New York for the next two years in the Championship and that will create a rivalry, After that the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever will be ready to challenge.
I keep hearing Kamilla is kinda soft spoken & introverted tho, so coach T might have difficulty coaching her ....BUT Angel is also on the team lol and she knows how to bring a team together - Look up her interviews when she talked about Flau'jae first joining LSU and what was happening. Sparks dropped the bag not drafting either one of these players...fml #ReboundGang

Dawn spoke to that and I am sure she has given her insight to TSpoon as well. Kamilla will be fine in Chicago they will love on her, be tough on her, help her grow and smooth out the rough edges of her game. We will see Kamilla grow up in the WNBA we will hear her voice.
Did yall see Dawn and A’ja hanging out with Serena Williams and then days later, Serena said in an interview that she is very interested in buying a Wnba team. It’s about to get crazy. I see others jumping on this money train. It is about to explode in the next fee years. I just hope they bring back the Houston Comets. ☄️ Buckle Up!
Would love to see Serena as an owner, maybe bring a team to South Carolina anywhere really, expansion would be great. Not sure if she and Venus are still minority owners of the Miami Dolphins but having her involved in the W would be amazing.

Ya'll drinking the kool-aid, the W is talented. Its not easy going from bottom to the top. I have questions on T spoon offense and in game adjustments, game strategy etc. First time head coach will have a learning curve. I do like what the team looks like, but a point guard who puts players in position to max their potential is needed and some shooting to spread the floor. Im not as optimistic as most of you, but I assume its because the shiny new toy is always fun to think about. When the season starts, reality will set in.

@@CessTalksSports I think there problem is with the other teams out west like the Sky, Fever & Sparks have upgradedI know 1 that west is more challenging being that point guard(I don't know her name off ✋ my 👎) is still nursing that injury I know Candace Parker is back but how much she does still got left in the tank in my opinion.
From what I understand Chelsea Gray is 100% healthy and playing for USA basketball and those teams made changes but I do not see anyone with an answer for A'ja Wilson, and I believe last year proved having Candace was a cherry on top. And when it came down to going to get the ring A'ja Kelsey, Jackie and the other ladies finished the job with no Candace, no Chelsea, and no Stokes. I may be a little bias but I don't see a lot of problems for this team in a playoff series. But this is why we watch and this is why we play, so we will see.
