If people think Katherine is being unreasonable here, maybe they should consider being pregnant to an unreliable, broke, messy, alcoholic, overspending significant other and see if they wouldn’t try and convince them to clean up their act a little.
One thing I think Full Body did really well is adding the flashbacks and extra info on Vincent and Katherine's relationship. In the original game it just sort of felt like you were immediately dropped into this really dysfunctional relationship on both sides with no context. In Full Body it shows the good times they had and why it's worth holding on to and fixing
I’ve played this game already but just watched this VOD in one sitting… I definitely think this game has such an interesting charm and it’s super engaging to see you struggle with the puzzles!

4:54:18 YES. Yes it is. Things are changing, but a huge chunk of the population is still very traditional and expects, at the very least, some sort of ceremony to take place. But the truth runs a lot deeper and is a lot uglier than that, and it's not just because of religion. Due to deeply entrenched cultural norms, if things end up not working out, Japanese laws give little to no rights towards the the couple/family unit in a "non-formal" union. Not to mention, life there is incredibly hard for single parents with children: almost half of them in Japan nowadays live in relative poverty. Society is very paternalistic (a problem which Japanese themselves acknowledge) and there is NO such thing, legally, as joint custody in Japan. Women there tend to be the ones completely financially responsible for their children if things fall apart (again, due to edo-period-old traditions, the woman of a house is the one who owns the rights to the business of the family and takes care of any children born out of the relationship), yet the country has the second largest wage difference amongst genders of all first world countries. Additionally, job practices in Japan do not accommodate career interruption. At all. Many high skilled jobs become **forever** out of reach for any parent who leaves the labor force to care for children and tries to return to work later on. So, more than simply "having a wedding", it became a way to try and protect the children themselves and guarantee what little rights there are for the family unit under the terms of Japanese law. Cohabiting unions in Japan are best viewed as an emerging prelude to marriage rather than as an alternative to marriage or singlehood. Most Japanese see the alternative as "just crazy", at least within Japan. To give you some perspective of how bad things are, nowadays there are no small amount of occurrences of one parent running away with the children and many of the couple's possessions, and the other can't even sic the cops after them. No joke. If you don't have a little paper saying you are a couple there, you have no rights at all to dispute or request a *lot* of things, like asking for family health insurance, buying a home together, starting a joint family business that is legally regarded as so under the law and has all the benefits of such, etc, etc. So yeah, a lawfully recognized union is very important in Japan! 😓
It’s a weird experience being able to immediately recognise everyone’s voice as a Persona character. I played this over a decade ago and somehow never looked into Persona until 5
Well usually female lets players are always on Katherine’s side and I’ve noticed many male lets players side with Vincent (obviously not all) but for female Lets players 100% of them side with Katherine, but for males it’s more like half and half.
If it helps, you are on hard mode. Yes, I know it said "normal" bit that's "normal" by the original game's standards. They patched that ish because players in *Japan* said it was too hard.
It's interesting to see different fears and opinions for the subjects in the game. I, for one, would not allow somebody to control my bank account. Yet I would like a woman who is organized and responsible. Granted, a lot of the problems in this game could be resolved if Vincent had more of a backbone. The internal controller batteries have a definite shelf life to where they can't hold a charge as much anymore. That's why rechargeable batteries have to be charged more often as they get older. Finally, you’re playing Catherine! I was looking forward to your playthrough, personally I played the “Vanilla” routes and now I have to play the new full-body route. Overall I like this game but the puzzles can be a bit frustrating, especially on higher difficulties.
I have made all the endings on the original game on Xbox 360 and Full Body, and NEVER realized that the blocks say "EDGE"... I always thought it was just a weird sound effect, something like a "OUPH"
... I think Sojiro is bugged? I played this a long time ago, but I don't remember him being nearly as annoying... Maybe it has something to do with your first death happening a tad too soon, which is exactly when you got the rewind tutorial? I dunno. Just a thought. Perhaps a code flag didn't kick in because of the timing. Or maybe I'm simply misremembering things.
It happens when you deviate from the path too much or put yourself in an impossible state. She's making it harder by pulling when you need to push. And the game wants you to follow the path as to learn techniques without telling you outright until later to have a sense of achievement. She didn't attempt to push to blocks or understood edges. So Sojiro's voice keeps getting triggered to say "uh what are you doing?"

Just wanted to clarify this but 4:37:40 the cutaway isn't them having sex again. Just wanted to clarify that cause Vince looks a LOT worse if you think he did that after how bad he felt after the first time.
