The lack of cooperation on the part of FBI, DHS and SS in doing the investigations and providing information to the public is 100 PERCENT the fault of the US House of Representatives and the US Senate. PERIOD. Those two bodies have for decades refused - REFUSED - to use their power of the purse to keep those agencies in line. If the legislative branch gave them all a 40% budget cut across the board this year and defunded the salaries of their bad actors this malfeasance would end immediately. End of story.

How can there be oversight when stonewalling is allowed even in an executive session? Refusal to answer should be instant dismissal for a Governmental position. Leakers within those committees should lose their ability to represent anyone. With loss of all benefits.

When my company has a failure -- it's all hands on deck, we will meet all day if needed and within 24 - 48 hours of the event a report can be handed to the CEO of that company that contains a timeline, what happened, what steps were taken to prevent the event, were all the company protocols followed, what mitigation plans are in place and more. That the Secret Service admitedly had a epic FAILURE -- and yet they know nothing as to what went wrong, what they can do to correct those issues. I keep asking myself. How the heck did a 20 year old kid with no military traning, outsmart one of the worlds most elite security team on the planet, and not only get in the vacinity, but within a football field of the president, and then setup, and take a shot. Meanwhile numerous people in the crowd were shouting 'he's got a gun!' Now they're stonewalling the congress on giving actual answers -- this leads me to believe it was an inside job. THe FBI is compromosed, the IRS is compromised, the justice department is compromised and now the secret service. Proove me wrong, give me the answers.
If we can ever find out who was in charge of the detail, we'll finally know why and how far up the chain of command the orders came from.
