EZGO RXV ELiTE Range Test in The Villages - Part 1

- Today we took a 4-passenger EZGO Freedom RXV ELiTE on a range test around The Villages. We started at our Magnolia Plaza showroom and drove North to Orange Blossom Hills and ended at the Brownwood showroom.
We had two adults in the vehicle the entire time and made a couple pitstops for lunch and at one of our other showrooms.
Usually we have a speedometer in the golf cars, but due to microchip shortages, we measured range from a GPS on a phone. We will do another video with a full battery drain very soon.
This vehicle was a 2021 EZGO Freedom RXV ELiTE with 4.2 Battery Pack. It featured our Lifestyle Package, custom streak style paint, and upgraded American Sportster Seats. You can see all of our available inventory here: www.thevillage...

Is the Range based on a new battery? What’s a replacement battery cost and what’s the cycle use before replacement on average? What’s the gas mileage and tank size? And time between overhaul of the engine? Thanks
This is the range of a new battery, unlike a traditional lead acid battery it will maintain its great range for many many years. The proof is from the thousands of golf courses that have been using this system for five years now and have maintained their range.

No air bags or air conditioners at this time.

Jose, Thank you very much! The chargers that come standard with these golf cars are unique to the ELiTE model and can do a complete charge in about 4-6 hours. Roughly half the time of a lead-acid battery setup. Also, these batteries can benefit from what EZGO calls Opportunity Charging. You don't have to fully charge each time, like what was recommended with lead-acid batteries. If you only have time for a short charge, every 30 minutes of charging can get you almost an hour of drive time.

Keith our 4.2 ELiTEs with Lifestyle Package start at $15,795. This one was a little more with custom paint, seats, and added rear seat.

No a fair test no hills really
They are not safe on the street. If you get hit by an actual car you are toast. I know a couple who were hit by a car and it killed.both of them.
You could be hit by an actual car in another actual car and also be toast. This is not the only way travel is required within The Villages, although it is very popular! We have a lot of golf car specific paths, tunnels, and bridges to help with golf car travel.
They are not cars. They are carts. Who has started this car thing? Are go carts now go cars? Are cars now trucks? Is a bus a train? Just call things anything you want I guess.
