I can feel the calm and beauty of the desert through your lens. There’s a certain stillness and connection with nature that only comes with camping in the desert, and your video brought that experience to life.
Nice rig. First time viewer. I am a native San Diegan and have been almost al over out there, I didn’t recognize that wash . I need to explore around fish creek more. Love it out there. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. I was just there last Thursday doing Pinyon Mountain and Fish Creek (including spectacular Sandstone Canyon). The video not having any narration was perfect, your video and music told the whole story of solo overlanding/camping in this remarkable desert.
@@4XTRAIL Epic trip. Technical, some fun obstacles, a few character scratches, a little pucker factor on Heart Attack Hill, and incredible scenery. You finish up in Fish Creek so there's the "more to explore" extra credit offshoot trails down there. A must do for sure!
Big fan man! Recently bought a wrangler and started with your hard top removal rig video and now watching weekly. Love your energy and positiveness. Keep it up. You’re inspiring me to go on some trips haha
What a beautiful spot. We did not do the Mt Lemmon trip last weekend, but will be heading out to St George soon for a weekend trip! Kind of a last minute decision, but hope to capture some beautiful shots like yours.
Heads up you should always park your rig against a back drop or hill if your in desert protect from prey and hostilevat night give you more security if breached you can cli9mb the hill for secondary egress escap[e route.
Hey - the chair I’m using in this video is actually an Ozark Trail packable camp chair from Wal-mart! They pack up very small. I like them but they are definitely more on the minimalist side. Pretty comfortable for as lightweight as they are. Hope that helps!
I wonder why everyone making videos has to emphasize “solo”, in the thumbnail. Will that make people brave and proud? I don’t get it. Oh well, great video, great vehicle.
Not sure exactly, I just followed Fish Creek until it ended at the cliffs. Not a great spot for camping, too windy when I was there. But it was beautiful!
Hey man, awesome video.. I’m from AZ and would love to know if your okay with sharing this location.. I tend to camping or backpack.. near Hortons creek trail, or bear canyon lake. Flagstaff area but this looks awesome… thank you
Hey! Those are the Jeep “badge of honor” program. You download the app, check in to any of their recognized trails and they send you the trail badge. It’s a pretty cool system!
Pretty much just follow Fish Creek until it narrows and eventually stops at the white clifs. Can’t give away all the secrets 😂 but that should get you close.
@@4XTRAIL nice. I've only been around the sr-22 areas, planning on going to the south there in the next trip or two hopefully before it gets too hot. nice video. take care.

First of your vids I have watched and I don't know if it is your standard but sans words is nice at times.
This is actually my first w/o dialogue! Was fun to shoot and more challenging to edit 😅 thanks for watching!
Great adventure and awesome video mate! That's exactly what I want to see here on UA-cam!! Subscription more than deserved 💪
Appreciate it Amos! Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel 👊🏼
Hi. Can drive a small rv in there?
I would keep that spot very hush hush 👍
We just stopped by the spot this past weekend.
Awesome! So beautiful out there!
yup@@4XTRAIL

I just found your channel because it popped up on mine as a recommendation. I subscribed to yours. Hopefully I will get as many views as you one day.
Hey! Thanks for the comment and sub. Will have to check out your channel as well! 🤙🏼
Tell me more about that chair. I'm currently using an ARB folding chair and while it's SUPER comfortable, it's also SUPER bulky.

very beautiful, what camera and lens was this taken with?
Epic video and perfect shots! Way to let your footage do the talking.

Great video 👍 where did you get that water jug?
The blue 6 gal is from Wal Mart. The smaller drinking one is a “zak!” brand but I don’t recall where I bought it from!
This looks like elephant tree trail off splint mountain before fish creek wash.
Not sure exactly, I just followed Fish Creek until it ended at the cliffs. Not a great spot for camping, too windy when I was there. But it was beautiful!

Hey Randy! This was at the far end of Fish Creek Wash / Trail in the Anza Borrego, back near the cliffs. Happy exploring!
hi man, are these magnets that you put on the front left fender of the vehicle? Where do you find this really stylish!
Hey! Those are the Jeep “badge of honor” program. You download the app, check in to any of their recognized trails and they send you the trail badge. It’s a pretty cool system!
@@4XTRAIL hey dude! You think I have to get a Jeep car owner to obtain one badge?
Because it’s in project but I’m not owner again 😁 thanks you bro
Beautiful spot! Great Video!! GPS coordinates? Thanks bro
Appreciate it Henry! This was Fish Creek Wash in the Anza Borrego. Campsite was at the far end near the cliffs. 🤙🏼
What kind of fenders?
Hey Nathan, they are just the factory flares that I trimmed with a dremel 🤙🏼
Why'd you put rocks under the tires?
To level out the vehicle for sleeping
Do you mind sharing what part of the park this was?
Hey Ron, yes this was at the far end of Fish Creek Wash near the cliffs.
What trail is this? This looks amazing!
Hey Sammy! I followed Fish Creek Wash all the way to the far end by the cliffs.
@@4XTRAIL thanks!
but which wash was it? at first it looks like inspiration wash but then it doesn't.

Aired down for Fish Creek? Lol
I’m anza borrego are you able to set up camp anywhere inside the park?
Yep, as far as I know it’s all dispersed camping as long as you’re not blocking a trail.
@@4XTRAIL You have to stay on established roads and trails in the park, no cross country stuff ! It also has to be a street legal vehicle with a license plate. My thumbnail pic is in Fish Creek Wash.
Just did 100 miles there today. I’m beat. Don’t ever go from I8 and head north on the east side. Waste of time. Everything else is good.
👏🏼
why did you put a rock under the tyre ?
To level out the vehicle 🤙🏼
Why stipping on rocks and air down
Hey! Rocks under the tires to level out the vehicle for sleeping. Air down to improve offroad ride and traction!
@@4XTRAIL we can use suspension adjustment system too right ?
😊🫶🏻
Good content. But, I had to unsubscribe. You didn't warm up your tortilla.
Haha fair enough 😅😅😅
