The massive blade stuck in the giant dead dragon next to the priestess also has a green tinge. Overall it seems to imply a "bronze age" culture of forging and cremation which opposed or even drove out the dragons and their beastman mausoleums, and was itself ultimately supplanted by the Erdtree.
I do remember that AND the shriek does still give off the colors of Death Blight. Will definitely bring this up in the Godwyn video everyone’s asking for 😅
@AHumanJusticar I mean in the dlc like is he still in that warped vessel to some extent like a mind separated from it's humanity cause it seems like mind and soul might not be the same thing in Elden Ring?
People always forget to bring up the outer god of death and the twinbird who birthed the grave rite birds. That outer god was pretty obviously worshipped in the shadow lands, I remember seeing the gravebirds for the girst time and thinking they look just like the twinbird depiction
Its fascinating that you bring up buddism cuz there was another dude that i forget the name. He made the point in a frenzied flame video that it was objective buddism.

Godwyn is one of the most interesting, but also mysterious characters in Elden Ring. A video on him would be most welcome.
