It took me 2:30 hours to win this and it was a massive and fun battle. I ended up killing about 3 000 allies and lost god knows how many conscripts , tanks , hinds ,subs etc. It was so cool pushing the frontline little by little to the first Com Tower then striking the 2nd with everything i got . It was massive and it was EPIC!
True. Honestly, I always take out the European base first, then set up a mining operation whilst trying to capture as most buildings as I can and benefit from them. Then I make a hell ton of factories with the free space I got and start mass production
@@Nuuk_Nuke_Nook Yeah! the thing i like about MO is thats there is always (almost ) plenty of $$$ to be made which results in a massive army fighting the enemy base which almost always covers the whole map . You can check out a video i made the other day that has plenty of massive armies here if you want to : ua-cam.com/video/ii-Q6yMaw6I/v-deo.html . Either way i love capping one enemy Gen for example and then expanding my base to that point and slowly covering the map with my structures.
It's gonna be even harder without the minimap to quickly swap over ur camera in theses soviet missions. When is the soviet airfield finally gonna be an option in the structure tab?
The AI is cheating and it doesn't even hide it. How did it know when did you build that sub (18:55) so it used the sonar basically the second it was produced?
I'm confused, what is the mercury strike timer for? I thought I needed to destroy both comm towers in 14 minutes, but when the timer runs out, NOTHING happens. No message or anything. I realize it was used off the battlefield, but why add a timer for that if its essentially impossible to destroy them both within the time limit?
Look back at what it did in the Paris mission. Both factions considered it to be superweapon-level destructive. Both factions miscalculated. The timer represents the Soviet's worry abou getting nuked from orbit, but as we all operate based on incomplete information during war - this turned out to be wrong. There was some message about that in the video, a few seconds after the timer runs out.
Mental Omega for Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. there was no tech samsite next to your base, the northern allied out post with the hospital never had the allied airport/radar and there where never gems below your starting point . just to name the immediate differences
+Ode To Joy The radar producing structure for the Soviets is now the Soviet Airfield. The Soviet Airfield is not accessible in Act One. We'll implement a different means of acquiring the minimap for the Act One missions.
+Khalil Khammash Snow is removed in Mental Omega for consistency (we can't be bothered to snowify all new buildings, honestly). Any issues with snow artwork in these videos will be fixed for the release.
Not really... i won it the first time but it was a HUGE battle and not having the radar made it kinda difficult to see where my base is attacked from but i still pulled it off and if i can do it anyone can
+magma1lord field bureau is a stricture which allows access to t2 units and building, but does not provide minimap, spy plane and such because the new soviet airfield is coming
Huh, weird. At 8:06, the War Factory briefly regains its old arctic imagery when releasing built units.
So many doggos died in this part.
The American state of Nunavut?

3:44 it's a dog eat dog world out there....
7:24 Lol, snowy factory.
Any hint about the unidentified structure on the southeast part of the map?

+johnytest464 Yeah, the AI handling of that particular support power works like that.
+johnytest464 That's what you get with a 14 year old engine.
Those2menoverthere . Actually that particular piece of code was created quite recently.
+Mental Omega for Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge Ah, I assumed it was a fault with the engine being pretty old.
this is the ai place
I play´d this oenyesterday, but here is no AA tech building, and no radar station @ 13:00 did you change something later ?
What's with the Oil Derricks not working for the starting player on 0:43 ?
They work on Beta Revision 1.
+JACKAZZ126291 They are still working, it's a visual glitch. money still pumps whether or not the sprite is working.
Is that going to replace the old model for tech hospital?
+Psyminette Z No, it have exactly same function as hospital but it will be placed on non-urban maps.
Soviets were so poor, they didn't even have a Radar.
Rip comet fence - mental omega pb1
Field Bureau cannot show the radar map in your published missions. So where the Radar went and what SOviet Building can offer the map?
+Chen IceXpuck Airfield.

is this the finished build on the map or was it still in development? as this was not the version in the most recent release.
What differences did you note?
Mental Omega for Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. there was no tech samsite next to your base, the northern allied out post with the hospital never had the allied airport/radar and there where never gems below your starting point . just to name the immediate differences
Where's the Hailfoxes?
Is the minimap hidden just for the Mental difficulty or for all difficulties?
+Ode To Joy: 13:00 There's a mini-map due to capturing the airfield. Soviet radar just doesn't seem to be accessible in this mission.
There is no radar for soviets because this is updated version that will be soon
+Ode To Joy The radar producing structure for the Soviets is now the Soviet Airfield. The Soviet Airfield is not accessible in Act One. We'll implement a different means of acquiring the minimap for the Act One missions.
cool
why are buildings not snowy ?

No morales?
totally lost with this mission. not having radar is very difficult.

arent we playing as russia?then why do we get dreadnoghts not akula sub??
+jojo nakhil Russia creates the Akula between Act One and Act Two.
Russia likes its Dreadnoughts
So much for Allied unity...
good
the building named field bureau is that the new radar tower?
+magma1lord Yes and No.
+Alstar question: will you still be able to build it in normall matches because it's almost never available in the missions
+Alstar can you explain what it is?
+magma1lord field bureau is a stricture which allows access to t2 units and building, but does not provide minimap, spy plane and such because the new soviet airfield is coming
Yep, exactly that. Unless something changes.
Nunavut is a Canadian territory, not a state of the United States!
sErgEantaEgis12 fuck you Canada belong to USA anyway.
@@puccakoolz1 lel
Shouldn't the harrier sound like the one from Rise of Reds? A la Banderas? this one sounds american.
+Ariel Popperl This is Mental Omega, not RotR. For me current harrier voiceset is fine
Ok, just a suggestion. BTW, any plans on redubbing Morales with an hispanic voice actor?
