  • The exact same problems that the ancient kings of Israel are the same problems that we experience today. The most damaging problem, then and now, is the lack of the fear of God, which produces destruction and misery.
    Nathan Pearl teaches through the Bible about the kings of Israel.

    Fantastic presentation & teaching of how to be a Christian. I only see one issue & that is you talk about God.
    But Jesus says that there is only one way to my father & that is through the son. We must approach Yahweh through Yeshuah, our Lord.

      John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
      I too believe that Jesus is God.
      Jesus differs nothing from the father in power, authority, beauty or antiquity. He is Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God. He is the Alpha and Omega, he is before all things and by him all things consist. My access to the Father through the Son is possible because of the Son's humanity. Because he was made sin on my behalf, paid for that sin through the shedding of his human blood, and was resurrected as my high priest; He made it possible for me, through faith in that blood, to be reconciled to the Father. Because Christ is the express image of the father calling him God is not just appropriate as a title but as a proper name, for Jesus is, my Lord and my God.

    I think we see this a lot, whether it’s great songwriters there are people that have lived through and help them grow and mature, and be able to see things, rich, comfortable person that never had a problem in their life just got up every day had everything they ever needed, and just hung out and had fun and every day was just a birthday party, they’re boring. You don’t wanna listen to their songs or read their books because they haven’t done anything in life and don’t have a story to tell. It’s kind of like the fear of God is exercise for us if you have a healthy body, and just sit around and relax all day you lose that health you have to work those muscles to keep them And the fear of God is kind of like exercise. It’s a healthy way to exercise those muscles so they’re there when struggles come and we need them, if you rest on your laurels or just relax all day and never exercise when a bear comes you’re not able to run very fast or very far and you get eaten, and when attacks if we’ve just been comfortable, we’re gonna be weak and not able to deal with it. This is kind of saying the fear of God is kind of like exercise that keeps us spiritually fit. When you’re exercising, it’s a little bit of a struggle and not always fun but you need to do it to stay healthy and people who are smart, do it and maintain their fitness better off for it. The fear of God keeps us spiritually sound like exercise and it’s a good thing. If we just worship ourselves and think that we can handle everything and don’t need God, then life will have to teach us that lesson the hard way by beating us down and showing us that that was foolish and incorrect and we can’t handle it come on, but we fear God it keeps us spiritually fit and keeps our souls in shape and then when we are attacked, spiritually, we’re equipped to deal with it better Because we fear, God, we depend on him, and when something happens, we turned to him and he’s there with us, when we depend on ourselves, we turned ourselves when there’s a struggle and we’re spiritually attacked and we suffer because we’re doing it wrong. We’re trying to do it ourselves instead of letting him do it or doing it his way. That Just seems logical now but I understand people that think fearing God is sort of a bad thing just like a lot of people when they start exercise hate it and don’t wanna do it and stop because they don’t like it because it’s a little bit uncomfortable, but we need to do it and when we do it regularly, it isn’t uncomfortable it feels good, people who work out regularly look forward to going into the gym and getting out there and exercising, because once you’re used to it, it feels good. And fearing God is the same way in the beginning that submission and humbling yourself kind of goes against the world is taught us growing up and we feel that it makes us weak or leaves us vulnerable but the truth is, it’s making us strong, as we live with it and progress we start to feel and see the good in it and we understand it better and understand that it’s not something bad that it’s something very good and productive and useful that benefits us it’s not God being mean and demanding us to submit him because he’s an evil dictator It’s God being with us and showing us how things are supposed to be done and how they really work and how to survive attacked by evil and all the bad things of this world. It’s fearing God that puts us in the right mindset to grow spiritually, and in the right direction. If we’re just going off of the way, we feel and what makes us feel good. We end up worshiping ourselves, and the things we do or our works or actions and the reason that’s the problem is because we will always fail ourselves. The truth is in and of ourselves independently we can’t handle the evil of this world. It will destroy us when we fear God we learn to depend on him and let him work through us and then, when evil attack we just kind of let it roll off our backs because we’re living in his mercy and grace and are protected by him and are equipped to get through it no matter how about it gets because, fearing God taught us to submit to him, and his will and his way that that’s not because he’s arrogant or some sort of controlling dictator it’s because his way is what’s best for us. People think, fearing God is submitting to some sort of evil dictator, that’s because they don’t understand God, because we’re ignoring and rejecting God and not respecting his power and omnipotent and realizing that he’s the one that can defeat any problem, he’s the one who can comfort us and strengthen us through our losses and suffering when we can’t do it, but it is only in fearing and respecting the power of God that we learn to live this way and take advantage of that and understand all of this if we don’t fear God we’re just out there thinking we got it handled on our own. We’re like a little child learning things the hard way. The child that listens to their mommy and doesn’t put their hand on the stove because she said it was hot doesn’t have to burn their fingers because I just listened and understood and learned. Stubborn kid that doesn’t care what his parents says it’s got to burn their hand first before they figure it out and that’s their own doing. We fear God we can learning things the hard way because he tells us the way things work and how they need to be done and what’s best for us, and fearing him brings us to a place where we can just learn. Things are easy way.

    God is King. Never forget the baptism.
    John 4:21-24 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

      No way they know Jesus and are born again. Bible teaches how spouses are to behave and abuse is not of God. They may know scripture, but so does the Devil.

    • @knoxurbanhomestead
      @knoxurbanhomestead 26 днів тому

      I know that's why I'm asking because he spoke about not leaving your spouse based on the knowing that God appointed that person to me, so my question is IS no one allowed to leave their husband because God appointed them to us eventhough they have become abusive? And if you say "then that's not the husband God appointed then" we'll that's the pastor is saying, pastor is saying It is disobedience to leave your spouse, regardless. By the way this is not my case, I'm asking because a lot of ppl ask me this question all the time.

    • @ReadersOfTheApocalypse
      @ReadersOfTheApocalypse 26 днів тому

      If they do not repent after being confronted by the spouse, the elders and the whole congregation, they should be treated as unbelievers, correct?
      And according to Paul, unbelievers can be divorced - at least on request of the unbelieving partner.
      But the bible doesn't talk in terms of an "husband appointed by God". I've never read such a thing anywhere.
      Marriage is negotiated between two humans and God considers that holy and binding.

    I depend on God alone, #TheDoor, by following Jesus' Lifestyle as a Nomadic Messenger example and messenger of The Way Back To Father God. Most people are NOT living like Genesis 1:26-29 say God originally made man to live but according to how Adan was forced to live after "eating from the "Tree of the Knowledge of Evil and Good."

    Why not call Him by His name and not His title?? God is His title and I feel my Father in heaven is far superior to the god of the Buddhist's, Hindus or Muslims who all call their God by its name and not its title. To bad you do not show Him more superior than they all do their god.
