I feel like for me it's as painful as pulling my own teeth out to get anything more than a DB1 poke. I'm currently Shinryu and I just cannot understand how to get anything going offensively. I feel like I get mashed out of every gamma and I seriously struggle so hard to get more than a million DB1 pokes if I don't hit a random launcher.
Learn your plus frame moves/strings and use them often for pokes. Timing and spacing are jacks’ friend especially. Whatever works for poking and pressure; keep alternating until they start to adapt or figure it out.

THis is a Different kind a Tekken (More aggressive than any tekken before it) u Just learn how the new mechanics work along with the BUFFED Sidestep to dodge quick attacks like fast jabs and kicks that are usually plus but u can sidestep em n have the Opp Miss, swinging at air n U get the juicy Punish + Combo u just gotta know whats moves track ur sidestep or whatnot

I noticed Arslan doesn't do big juggle combos at all. Which minimizes gray health. The opponent rarely has any gray health.
The jack-8 is very fast compared to the jack-7 with a huge overhaul and there is gigas capability included in the jack-8.👍🤩
