I always thought Lata ji has sung this song until I checked 31st Film fare (1984) award list today. It was Aarti Mukherjee, great voice. I also notice Shabana Azmi had 4 out 5 nomination in best actress category. Sridevi was 5th for Sadma performance. What a year for SA.
